Thank you for your compliments and encouragements on our song! Really appreciated the listen!!

  • @zecoop  Mar 8

I have loved having it and $20 made it hard to say no, much to the dismay of my wife, lol. ๐Ÿ˜€

I wish I would have dragged out the accordion... But the pianorgan has a similar sound, pumping air through the reeds - although the motor pushing the air is really really noisy, lol. Kind of the young stepchild of the pump organ.

Thanks... I enjoyed writing that one (albeit last year) and was so happy Liz could work out something for it, and in addition to her awesome vocal, add her wonderful bass. I used my top secret (non-accordion) accordion that I can actually play for that one, and for "Snow Hymn" this year. I do have an accordion but could not be any worse on it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Just gonna give your # 12 a listen.

  • @doglatin  Feb 28

Yeah I'm happy to have gotten 7 done, we'll see if I have a little bit of time tonight, maybe one more, maybe not.

  • @erikleppen Feb 27

Thank you for commenting on the African dance, and telling a litle bit of what it reminded you of. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @danvaillancourt  Feb 27

It works through some sort of banjo resonator magic, no pick up. Try it! ๐Ÿ˜‰ It was an accidental discovery we made many years ago on the porch of a lodge at summer camp.

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 27

Congratulations Centurion Soldier! You wrote 100 comments for your fellow FAWMers!! You made this place even better. You took your time to listen to other people's songs and you have 100 thank you's from all of them and from me! Hereโ€™s your badge. Excellent work and keep bustingโ€™ those zongs!!

  • @wacha  Feb 26

Thank you for your kinds words on "Into the Ether", I struggled a bit with that song but ended up pretty happy with what came out of it.

  • @doglatin  Feb 22

You are correct in your dead guy guess!

  • @defaultdave  Feb 22

Thanks for the comment on Shuttering Up || Shutting down. Never fear though, my song takes place well past the age of humans.

  • @kahlo2013  Feb 20

Lovely! Please feel free to post with me as a collbaorator! Thank you!

  • @doglatin  Feb 19

Thanks for the thoughts. While writing the closing line, I thought "I'll mention 3 of the 4 seasons, and name the song after the one I didn't mention." And then I thought maybe I'll do something similar in every other song...that would kinda be my theme this time. But it will be pointless if I don't get more done, soon!

  • @doglatin  Feb 19

Thanks, yeah I finally posted one, maybe before the month is up there will be two!

  • @defaultdave  Feb 8

Thanks for listening. I actually like to work on music in the morning these days too when possible but "Here we are this morning" didn't quite have the same ring to it. ha. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @toms  Feb 2

I am first and last an edumacator. For example, that "A" chord - know why it's called an A? Because when you play it, it makes people go "Aaaaa". It's true! Also, thank you for the kind comment!

  • @philmcmill  Feb 1

Looking forward to hearing some new tunes - good luck!
