Well, Phil, I finished listening and commenting on all of your FAWM entries. It was most enjoyable. I look forward to next year. Been a pleasure.

Thanks for the heads up re: Hades Plays The Blues. I accidentally moved the track out of the proper Dropbox folder. Problem fixed, track now playing on FAWM again!

  • @scottmcb  7 weeks

Well done to you as well. We did it!

  • @johnhudome  7 weeks

Phil, Thanks for the comments on Love Recipe. "..beach music meets early Beatles." I'll take that. I'm not so much into what genre things are. If I like it, I listen to it. If I like it, I play it.

  • @hbusse Feb 20

Hey thanks for the comment and listen on Filter. I've enjoyed your tunes for a few FAWMs now. smile

  • @mojo  Feb 20

    Maeow eheow eew! Mrrr maaahaw.
[Mojo thanks you for your comment. Greetings to your kitty.]

  • @marijequerida Feb 19

Thanks so much for your comment smile

  • @alfalfa Feb 18

That's a great idea about my nose song. Perhaps future-me will have learned how to do audio tricks like that.
I planned out the message before writing the rest of the words. I was running out of song ideas, so I challenged myself to write some semi-cohesive lyrics around it. It was harder than I thought it'd be.

  • @hamiltonpoolhall  Feb 17

You know, any time in the coming year if I'm having one of those dark days when I wonder what it all means, and if I should have gone into the garment trade instead, I'm going to reread the line "a fantastic blend of feel-good witty snark," and feel like I've done something right with my life. Thanks for your latest comments, and yes, it hasn't escaped me that memorizing some of these tunes is going to be wicked. Now to catch up on my PN listening...

  • @nancyrost  Feb 16

You make a very fetching werewolf. smile

  • @hoopshank  Feb 15

Couldn't get on to the hosting web site either but it's working now. Listening now...

  • @nancyrost  Feb 13

I'm having trouble streaming or downloading your songs too.

  • @hoopshank  Feb 13

Glad to see you're back again. Came by for a listen but, for some reason, couldn't get your songs to play this evening. I will try again another day.

  • @jamkar Feb 12

Hey thanks for the comments, and busting my zong kind sir!

  • @mikedebenham  Feb 7

Dibs on Trumpet Farts as a band name. Wait, what's the opposite of dibs?

  • @mschizzle Feb 6

thanks so much for your comments on my first two song, Phil! I thought it was funny that you called my uke song a "little romantic fantasy" because I didn't make up anything in the lyrics. I think I know what you meant, though, as it's hard to believe this reat guy is in my life right now. thanks again smile

  • @autoclamp  Feb 6

"Bad news is we've locked you in the attic."

[Looks at the camera, shrugs.] It's a living.

  • @hamiltonpoolhall  Feb 5

Hey Phil, what a pleasure to have your detailed and enthusiastic ears around and about again this year. Per usual, the enthusiasm is mutual. Is this the year I get it together sufficiently to suggest a collaboration of some sort?

  • @tjod  Feb 4

You inspired me... I did dig out the dulcimer for a song!

  • @isaacq  Feb 3

so let's talk turkey here Phil. what kind of collab are you thinking? what elements of Phildom and iqdom are we looking to tap into? who starts, and with what? maybe drop me an email??

  • @shadywilbury  Feb 2

Very sorry, Phil. Can't have been looking that hard.

  • @timothybracken  Feb 2

    HEEEEEEYYYY!

  • @isaacq  Feb 1

i think that idea sounds marvy. phisaac quarman FTW! (wait a sec, doesn't every song open new neural pathways?)

  • @jinx  Jan 31

  • @drewb92 Jan 29

Miiiiiister Norman! Looking forward to hearing this year’s creations!

  • @tiedyehero  Jan 29

Your tag idea is rad, social media as a songwriting tool, very 2014. I've enjoyed your music over the years, and I look forward to hearing more.

  • @sacraficialglam  Jan 28

Look forward to making a multi-track masterpiece this year only to hear you make a better masterpiece with two or three. Cannot wait to be amazed.

  • @brownium  Jan 26

Sally My Love is one of the top favorites around my house. I have to bribe my kids with candy to get them to say that they like my music better. smile

  • @ianuarius  Jan 25

Hello there! I though I tried making some new friends here. I don't believe we've met previously. smile GLHF!

  • @scottmcb  Jan 23

    Our powers are mighty.
