Hey thanks for your prompt response. It's sad that life got in the way, I will just have to wait for next year to hear your fantastic tunes!!
  •  lapetitekiwi 1 week ago
Ben Nolan mentioned your Annie song so I thought I should really check out what you did this FAWM cause I loved 'Annie, hold on' and 'Green song'. I'm sad now that you've only done one sad
    Next year???

You are destined to someday meet Todd Chappelle, the author of this song.

Hmm. I think Phil Henry is quietly toiling on songs and recording them expertly, and in the last week will post 14 astounding works to blow us all away!

    I'm watchin' U.

Feel better, Phil. I'll do some freewriting, just let me know when you're back in business.

I've been thinking about writing an Irish wake song. Any interest?
  • Aaron Nathans 1 month ago
Thanks, Phil. Gotta get this stuff outta my system before I can write about other things.

Hey Phil -- I got a uke recently, thinking I might try to learn a few chords and use it for a FAWM song. I haven't picked up the guitar yet, have worked on a couple of lyric ideas, but they might be too personal for collabs. Still I'm sending them around for feedback -- on e-mail, not a wall post. If you're interested, drop a line to stevekey33@aol.com

hey Phil, thanks for the note! smile looking forward to seeing/hearing what you come up with!
ps. are you still "watching" me? FAWM is telling me I'm on nobody's watchlist (so sad)...

Hey there, Phil! (Why can't an exclamation mark do a better job after the letter ell? That would be an ell of a thing, eh?)
  •  Nancy Rost 1 month ago
    Me you too, very soon!
  •  Elaine DiMasi 1 month ago
EDIT: just one from you! I can hit up others!

"Keyboard", eh? You're serious about doing one not-my-instrument solidarity thing? Each one of my songs I do on guitar could have a guitarist non-guitar sister song!

    Give it lots of djembe.
  •  Scott Lake 1 month ago
Phil, whatever became of 'Ticking Bomb'?

edit: I see it's on your latest CD. I never would have expected sax on there - sounds cool. To me, it's still a Neil Young "Keep On Rockin in the Free World" vibe.

Hey, friend! Can't wait to get started.
  •  Phil Henry 1 month ago
Perhaps that should be the LAST song, Frances... It could be the FAWM 2010 Overture... All the instruments, with themes from all the songs I write this year making an appearance in the tune... Good idea!
  •  Frances 1 month ago
I think you should try using all the instruments on one song!! Go for the gold!
  • Jeff Kimball 1 month ago
    PHIL! PHIL PHIL PHIL! PHIL!
  •  Phil Norman 1 month ago
Looking forward to some new Phil Henry songs!

    Indeed, Phils rock.
