Bio

Retired, and finally having the time to do all the music I want. After about 45 years as a musician, and more bands than I can count, I mostly do collaboration online through my home studio.

If asked to narrow my instrument of choice to "one", I'd probably say bass, since I've played it longer than anything else. But, to varying degrees, I also play drums, guitar, banjo, mandolin, keyboards, and, have been sequencing for a very long time. I mainly compose/collaborate through my online studio now-a-days. But, also continue "for fun" to play live with a group of friends that have been together forever. Bottom line, is "It's all for the music.".

Along with instrument recording, I mainly use Propellehread's Record/Reason and Adobe Audition for my productions.

I rarely write lyrics. But, am a fairly prolific composer, in most any genre. And, patting myself on the back, after years of experience, I think I am pretty good at it. If you listen to any of my compositions either here, or, in my studio, and think you have the lyric/vocal to go with them, by all means contact me. Collaboration is what I do.

I like to try everything from classical to heavy synth. But, have to admit I really like working with female singers. I've had the opportunity to do some really great collaborations over the last few years with several of them This was with a young lady I did several songs with "Sabrina Doughty". It's called "Don't Let Morning Come". And, was released on two separate CD's in the same year.
