Thank you for the comment on "Conclusion"! I'm not sure what you mean by "sample triggering" in the song because there is nothing sampled or triggered in it. Everything you hear is my stratocaster played live (no overdubs in post). So I'm not entirely certain which section of the song you are referring to… (tho, I am currently mixing the song & have added some synth texture near the end - I hope to post this mix very soon)

Thanks for the nice comment - how the heck did you do 30??? smile

Hey, thanks for the comment. In response to your question. Yeah bpm is one of the main differences between the two. Breakbeat is typically 130-140 bpm and drum and bass is usually between 160-180

Thanks for asking on Dream Guitar. I have four vocal tracks in there, usually at least two are in unison but it's four-part harmonies in a few places, especially in the "don't touch don't touch" bits where I'm being the open guitar strings speaking, singing the D, G, B, E. smile

Congrats on that number of great songs!

Thanks for you comment on Just a Little. Couldn't get Astrid to do it, so now we have a demo up with Lee singing it ; )

This is a great set of tunes! Each one is as unique and interesting as your influences, plus you play a mean axe! Where are you in Washington? Bellingham here.

Also, I'd bet I'm way older than anyone else on this here site.

Thank you for your valuable feedback on my science museum song. As much as I'd like to say "my song isn't too loud, you're too old," the final loudness and over-modulation of my tunes is something I'm still struggling with. I'm using Logic Pro and there are a number of handy mastering presets that employ a final bit of limiting. I think I'm relying way too much on it and not paying enough attention to my premix. A lot of trial and error.

    Thank you again!

Welcome to FAWM! Here's hoping for a good February. Looking forward to hearing your stuff. You can check out some of my pre-fawm electronic tracks here, http://www.songvault.fm/artists.htm?id=11893 (feel free to vote for them if you enjoy them).

I do primarily hip hop stuff that is influenced by pop and electro stuff. Hit me up if you have any good collaboration ideas.

    GOOD LUCK!!!
