NOT-SO-STANDARD-DISCLAIMER:
I am a complete and unrepentant cheater. I started FAWMing a week early because I will absolutely and unequivocally be unable to FAWM for the last 7 days of the month. So I won't be offended if you skip past my first couple of tunes. I only wrote 2 in those 7 days. I spent 4 times longer on one of them than I have on any other song written in my 8+ years of FAWM, so I can tell you for sure that it is NOT the same experience. I am still shooting for 14 songs in 28 days, and those 28 days do (for the most part) overlap nicely. So if it looks like I'm farther along than I am, take heart. I'm really not. And if it looks like I'm on target to finish the challenge, it means I'm really a week behind where I'm supposed to be cuz I'm outtie by Feb 21.

I look forward to hearing what you do with "Wetlands". I do have someone else working on it already, so you'll have to post a copy. Thanks!

Thanks. Erin, for taking the time to look through my Utah State Route 24. That was kinda fun to write. Appreciate your comments.

    Hey!

  • @scottlake Feb 9

If I'm not mistaken, your first year or so on FAWM were recorded to a voice recorder or something, yes? I thought I remember you describing your frustration with your recording setup. It sure sounds like you have that sorted out. Vinegar & Salt is exquisite - I guess I should leave this comment there!
