Bio

I've always been an event-driven writer, having productive spells when my life was in turmoil for one reason or another followed by massive dry spells. The writing drought has been going on for way too long now and I am hoping this challenge will bring back my inspiration.

I have mainly been playing solo acoustic these past years which would in all likely hood be reflected in the songs I'll write, though I intend to push the boundary and try to experiment with different styles to push both my writing and my performing to the max.

This year's fawm inspired me to put a website back online, it's a bit rudimentary for now but I have put a few old songs of mine online for those interested: http://www.lomedae.com/music.html

Hey Lomedae ... I am a firm believer in first come ... first served. I leave it in your capable hands. There may be timing issues in some of the lines because the way the ending words have to fall to be within the scope of "Sestina". I would really like to hear what you can come up with. Let me know if you have issues that you need to straighten out to get the lines to flow better, and if you have a melody beginning to develop, I may be able to help by correcting the issues in the lyric before you get too far along. I will just need to hear what you have melody/timing-wise before I would be able to adapt the lyric to match (unless you just want to go with what's in your head). I'll put you on as a partner ... let me know something
