Third time around and I don't have a manifesto, just a laptop, some guitars and a head full of music. Let's go.
Also, it`s my birthday on the 21st and all I want this year is constructive criticism! ![]()

Sorry this has taken so long... but thanks for your comment on my song "Midnight (Little Rock)". I put up follow-up comments, but I don't know if you saw them. Figured I'd leave this up here to thank you, and to let you know about that. Thanks again for your comment, and glad you like the song!

How's tricks, Luis?
Thanks for your comment on my soundboard. Yes, I'm just getting to all of them now.
I was knitting a totoro, btw. ![]()

There's not many tracks I keep back to on here, but yours is one of them. Please sir, can we have more? Just "hit you up" on last.fm.. it's of no surprise that we have SUPER compatibility...

Thanks on Road Hog
At 1st I was thinking a chorus too, But now I'm leaning towards just keeping it repetitive. It has an AABA pattern and to add a chorus would make it maybe a little too much variation.

Well you made my day, thanks a lot for the feedback on the Hubble songs. I've put those I consider not too bad in an album, specially for you : http://joannegabriel.bandcamp.com/album/interstellar-travel

Thanks for checking out my little paranoid punk tune. I appreciate your comment, but if I told you the city I'd be killing the mystery. ![]()

Thanks for listening and commenting. Actually, no the wood flute came late to the party. The track actually began with the ostinato that enters in bar 25. The sparkly sound heard at the beginning was the sound that turned the track and then the wood flute came in along with the rest of the percussion.

Thanks for the comment on my song. It's funny that you mention chord changes and such, as when I finished it my first thought was, "well, I have the ending, now I just need a beginning!"
Also-also: Looks like we're both members of the 2-21 Birthday Club. Cheers!

I haven't released the space-inspired album because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of my songwriting last year ![]()
But it's nice to know you liked it, I will consider releasing a few songs on my Bandcamp.

You are another one that I should have met last time around. So here is a latent "Hello."
RE: 007
The Instrument in the Back playing the straight quarters is a synth keyboard. There is also a Bass track with a more syncopated set of quarters. The main melody is played (poorly by me) on a Bass and then heavily amped and fed eventually through "AmpliTube," which is a VST plugin. I have a real Bass player in mind for the final take. I'm thinking the vocal melody (yet to be written) should be a slow less busy and even more dynamic part.
