I'm brand new to the FAWM scene, heard of it through my bro and it sounded like a good way to push myself to be a little more proactive with music writing during the winter!
I took piano as a youth and figured out some other instruments by just jamming and playing by ear. I used to play bass in a rock n roll band but now I just write and record on my own.

Hey Leah! Your comment on my track made my day, thank you, I'm still quite an anxious vocalist, but I agree it does need to come up a bit - I'm in the midst of doing a mini remix of each of the tracks and will get round to releasing them as a free download - i'll be sure to raise the vocals and send it your way when I'm done!
😀 on the Caterpillar song. I figured if I was going to do a round, I'd do something that has a cycle in it that opens with the beginning and closes with the final stage, so this fit the bill. When I saw the challenge to do bugs, it was pretty easy to choose something. I think the trick is balancing shorter words and longer words so they don't step on each other so much. Thank you for the comments!
Thanks for the great comment, I stopped by and cherry picked a few songs and loved every one - will need to Watchlist you so I remember to come back for more!
Thanks for commenting on my Remembrance song! 😀
Thank you very much for your comment on "Mandy Lane". Congratulations on completing your first FAWM!
Hey, that song is finished right?!??!? LOL (just kidding!!!)
In FAWM, you post what you feel is a song and that is the only rule (besides the fact that they are written [mostly] in February). I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of your songs! I enjoyed the first three I heard! 😀
Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated!
Thank you so much for the comment on my YMCA parody 😀 I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell what it was from without being told 😀 now I know the answer!
Thank you muchly for your encouragement. Love your whispery voice.
Thanks for listening & commenting on my version of The Road Is So Long, Lord. I'm not a gospel singer & perhaps the subject matter doesn't fit perfectly with the sound, as can be detected by the performance. But it was fun to play around with Daniel's words. He's one of my favourite FAWM lyricists. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
See You In The Shadows…
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my song New Year.
I never really thought about having an accent till now, I'm glad you like the sound of the English South coast : ) Thanks!
Birthday's tomorrow, thanks for the well-wishes!
Hey thanks for the kindness! I'm not really on vocal duty too often, so I appreciate it 😀
They have them in purple and pink and blue! Unicorn onesies are the best!!! Recommend!!! 🦄
I am also EXTREMELY behind on laundry. The FAWM struggle is so real!
He Leah, this is a great idea. I sent my email through your bandcamp page. I'm sure we can figure out a way to make it work. Thanks!
Thank you for your thought on my song!
Thanks for time travelling with us, sponsored by the wonderful world of music. Not sure how the numbers song came about, but after the first verse I went number crazy. Thanks for listening. Loving your songs.
Thanks for all your comments. I really appreciate your feedback!
...and you live in Rock Island - Home of one of my favorite internet music discovery sites "Daytrotter"! 😀
Thanks for the listen and the fun comment! I'm so glad you did because now I found your music... so good... I can't wait to listen to the rest. 😀
Thanks for checking out my tune!
I like doing the layered parts as in "Quaint" but yeah, it takes discipline and timing and an ear for harmony! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. Cheers!
Thank you for feedback on "Calm Down".
I'm glad it worked out as it was supposed to! 😀
So cool you're learning danish.
Dansk er svært at lære, men du må bare holde ud 😉
Thanks for taking a listen to my music and leaving a comment. I'm very grateful for that.
Thank you so much for your warm comment. It helped me find your songs. Washing you a great fawm and hoping, if you are happy to, we might collaborate.
Thank you for your comment on my song. Happy fawming and Valentine's day
Thanks for the comment! Transportatious is now my new favorite word. 😀 Glad it helped inspire you! If you ever want to donate some vocals for the mellow things I'm working on, let me know!
Thx so much for your comment on "Island Park Pavilion" - much appreciated!
Thanks so much for listening to and commenting on "Mixtape." Funny how music locks in so many memories.
Thanks for your comment on "Guinea Pig Love". Yes! Guinea pigs are the sweetest vegans on the planet, aren't they?
I'm in love with your voice. That is all.
Hey, happy new year, first FAWM! 😀
Listened to your 2 other orig. from 3 yrs ago; nice! 😀 You've got the smooth, melodic down... and obviously, from the covers, have range.
Do something, raw, base, chunky, syncopated between the vocal range modulations, against/contrasting a melodic rhythm. Since played Bass, slap out a funk rhythm one could not possibly sing to, then do 😉 why not? It's FAWM ... or, as you like! 😀
thanks for your kind words on "Despite Your Best Intentions."
Welcome to FAWM! Hope to hear more of your songs!
I clicked on your website link and just read your post about Sculpey clay and had to share this! When my kids were young we discovered this clay from a book that came with samples. Making "clay guys" became a regular activity at our house. Whenever our kids wanted an accessory or even a new critter they would make it and bake it themselves! My kids are now in their 20s and they still love Sculpey!
Link isn't working for "Me and you", I got to your bandcamp page, but not this song.
