This is my first FAWM (although I may have joined a year or a few ago and never wrote/posted anything) This year I got super-excited at first (of course when I oughtta be working on something else lol!) and then got busy with other things.
So basically these songs are all crude copies, not really finished.
They're all mostly inspired by the 'TAXI/American Songwriters listing' challenge! And may actually end up as a true submission to a Japanese pop star?? (a girl can hope!:)
Or as fabulous activist country songs, lol! (People who listen to country need to be inspired for eco things too!:)
/The plan was to write an album of Japanese pop and a country one, then realized they may probably just take a few songs, not the whole lot, lol! So that de-inspired me, ha ha!/

I did get into 2 collabs also, on MusesMuse (which I didn't post here, not finished yet either and not sure if other authors would be cool about it).

So hmm.. FAWM rocks, it actually made me write or work on songs! (And discover some new listings, lol!)

Update: I finally figured out how to export as mp3 in Audacity, not sure if I want to just upload the 1st takes or tweak/work on them some more? (Construction workers here during day, so hmm, maybe I'll just post up the totally imperfect 1st takes!)

I'm happy to sing other people's songs sometimes (if I like them), don't expect perfection and I'm still learning this!!

Only have a very basic cheapie mic so far, hope to get better gear (and have access to friends' mics if needed).
Suggestions for an affordable mic that would suit my type of voice welcome. Not sure if these songs represent my type of voice though, hm. Anyway, here's to learning how to do this!
