Bio

I'm a Colorado singer-songwriter who quit her full-time job to spend more time being musical. Now, when I'm not playing shows or writing my own songs, I get to help kids write theirs! Last September I released an EP, Out of an Eggshell, after a year of hard work, fundraising, recording, mixing, and everything else that goes into putting an album out.

I'm really happy to be a part of the FAWM community for the third time this year - it's such a kind, creative, supportive one!

A little update. My life has run away with me! AAAHHHHH!!!!! Got a demo I need to upload in the next day or two, a blues song that needs some piano or guitar music to go with it, and a kids' song-in-progress that I should probably just go ahead and post the lyrics to...

And I'm planning on recording a better demo of "Wind it Blows Bitter" with David before the end of the month. And then I move into a new house and life gets even crazier! AAAHHHHH!

Sorry I've been out of touch with the FAWM community this year - all those of you I want to be following more closely, I promise to take a listen to all your new songs before March is over!

Helloo! Looks like Wille paired us up a for folktronica collab, so so... I haven't done many collabs so not entirely sure how to proceed, but thought I'd start by getting in touch. Thanks for giving 'Klondike Kate' a listen. I did that first recording when I was sick as a dog, and mostly just wanted to capture it so my future (hopefully healthy) self had enough to work with. I have a third 1897-period verse in mind so may just add that instead. Though funny as it sounds, at our festival a lot of folk miss the point that our character is based on this real person.

Thanks for the comments you've been leaving on my songs- I get super self-conscious, so it makes me happy, haha. And lol, I keep catching myself singing your song. I have some working chords and tunes as far as demos, but I don't think I'm gonna put them up, cuz I cannot write a melody to save my life. BUT I'm working on it. xD
