Bio

FAWMing for going on 7 years now, and I love it.

4 kids under 11 at home, and my ability to actually record is virtually non-existant. Expect rough cut vocals to sketch things out, unless I can figure out how to get a computer into my "music room" (aka closet)

Specialties include vocals (love singing harmony) various hand drum, finger cymbals and bad guitar playing. I am learning mizmar/zurna and sound less like a dieing duck than I used to, still working on that new oud!

Alaska ... and chicken curry pizza ... both sound pretty good to me I was born at Fort Richardson (father was stationed at Elmendorf AFB at Anchorage) in 1962 ... we left there in 64 and haven't been back since (but my oldest brother took a cruise up there two years ago). Sure would like to see how it has changed from the old 35mm slides ... someday ... someday.

@lara, I see a couple of titles here that could be used in a song of their own: e.g. 'I was still awake at sunrise/And I think it was/A facebook protest song/That.....etc. etc. See what I mean? Somewhere in the lyric, 'Midnight' and 'Behind the door' could crop up as well'.

Hey! I'm so sorry I totally didn't realize we were paired up. Oops! So I don't have my electronic/comp gear for the rest of FAWM. The recordings will be crappier and more likely be using guitar. I'm still down, though I may have to focus on a more lyrical approach.

Lara, thanks for the comment on my slump song. As I said to Max, it ain't much, but if someone likes it for some reason, maybe there's hope for it. As good as caffeine huh? Maybe I can sell it to Starbucks?
