Alright, it's over now. I started really slow and had problems with my motivation. After two weeks it seemed obvious that I would not make it. When there was only two days left of FAWM, I changed my mind. I still needed 7 songs, which meant I had to work much faster than ever before. I struggled a bit, but managed to make the required amount of songs, just in time! Well, not 14 and a half songs, but 14 seemed to be enough for the "winner!" status. I admit that some of that rushed stuff is so unfinished that I'm not sure if I'd really even call them songs, but the material itself is not that bad. I also managed to make my favorite song "Until the Last Minute" while working against the deadline, which was great and encouraging.

In general I'm happy with the results. There are some unfinished songs and mediocre stuff, but also songs that I like. I definately feel like I accomplished something.

I started writing music about a year and a half ago, but so far the results have been pretty weak. I don't write often, and when I do I'm never satisfied enough with anything I come up with. During this year and a half I've managed to write only one song. When I heard about fawm, I thought there's no way I'm taking part in this. If I can only write one song during a year and a half, there's no way I can make 14 in a month, right? But after thinking about it a bit I understood that a motivation boost like this is exactly what I need! So here I am. I've got absolutely no idea if this is going to bear fruit or not, but I certainly hope it will!
