Artist Bio

Influences:   Neil Young, Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Yukon, Canada, Folk Roots country americana

Sweet, oldtyme roots artist Kim Beggs, with “A voice as cool and as refreshing as the Yukon River, delivers songwriting of the highest order” says Maverick Magazine (UK).

FAWM is a great inspiration for me because it helps me to LET GO - due the pressure of having to write that many songs in a short period of time. Trying out less familiar chord progressions while striving to create interesting and desirable melodies around them, is a great way for me to grow artistically and diversify musically.

Working on my sixth solo album.

Kim, I feel like your voice and songs have a deep understanding of long winters and lonesome. Your creations really resonate with me. I look forward to listening to the rest of them. Peace.

than k s for listening to Moth, I a m abig fan of Kathleen Edwards。 I wonder if it creeps into song of mine?Sorry about weird spacing, I seem to have triggered a Chinese alternate keyboard here. Must fix.

Thanks, Kim, I actually got a little choked up singing that song. But for some fortunate breaks it could be us on that desperate road.
