Influences: Bruno Mars, Jack Johnson, Notorious Big
I like writing catchy ukulele songs with rapped versus and sung hooks. I have an affinity to songs that lift you up like a Tony Robbins talk would do. I am all about experimenting though with this challenge.

Thanks for your kind comments on "Take The Bait". Glad you liked it. See you sometime in another skirmish.
Thanks for the great comments on my songs. Appreciate it.
Thank you for your comment on Can You Guess Who I Am?! I'm excited to do a full recording so I can bring in some kids to sing along and make the animal noises, plus guess the animal. I've had that one stuck in my head for over a year!
I love RealBand and it is my only daw (I do use audacity a bit for certain things like mastering). I love the fact that you can add and regenerate certain sections of your real tracks while you are busy mixing without having to export to another daw.
Aw.. why thank you Keith! Nice to have you in the SongWrite Inn. Looking forward to hearing more of your songs over the course of the year and outside of FAWM. My bff lives in Atlanta - have been there twice to visit. Y’all sure like it hot! 😄
Hey, congrats on finishing and sorry about the late reply. Thanks for listening and leaving comments! That's really kind of you! I worked really hard on everything I made this FAWM and tried to challenge the crap out of myself, but I suffered for it through lack of meals, sleep, and sanity. And I'm terrible at getting back to people during FAWM because I get hyperfocused. Anyway, glad you liked the story. 😀
Thanks! The drums on NiP are RockEven8, I think. One of the most basic drum tracks, but it works.
Thanks for listening to "My Way or the Highway". Glad you enjoyed it. The production was really down to Band in a Box - a great songwriting tool.
I'm enjoying your stuff alot! welcome to fawm, glad you're here!
Thanks so much for listening and commenting on my banjo instrumental 'Great ocean road drive '
BIAB usually has a mid-summer (july-ish) sale and a December "new version" sale. I don't think the sale is that great for first time buyers, but now that you have it, you may be able to upgrade cheaply. To me, the real tracks are what makes BIAB so great since I am not really a midi person. The secret to making BIAB sound "real" is when you add in your own live instruments (ukulele) and simple percussion -- but the real drums are pretty great, too. Have fun! I didn't use BIAB in 2017, nor for FAWM this time around, but I still think biab is pretty dang good.
Thank you so much for your kind words on my skirmish song, "You Were There for Me." My first year at FAWM and it really means a lot to me.
Haha! Yay! I can imagine you with your uke playing along. Thanks for the prompt. 😁
Thanks for listening to Angry Old White Guy. Finishes my FAWM 2018 . I will 1 or 2 more.
