as i am slightly less prolific in my songwriting i will be happy if I get to five songs. will you be happy for me?

No, but @johnnycashpoint and @hoops are planning on writing a related opera in 50/90 all about the merchants and their merby team.
  •  helenseviltwin 2 months ago
I don't think so. I thought "We are good and they are bad" sounded sympathetic to someone who'd been brainwashed, but not to the cause.
  •  helenseviltwin 2 months ago
Thanks, Keither! All the opera songs are just going to be rough mixes. I left it until last Wednesday to start, so don't have time for polish. Oh no!

    FAWM hates ampersands. Try now.

I thought everyone knew lesbian sex is a religious experience.
  •  helenseviltwin 2 months ago
    Ugh! No cats. EVIL!

Thanks for the comment on I Hear Alan Tuning. Pretty funny - the round robin of misreading the title. Well, at least now, I've found out who Alan Turing was. Glad you liked it. Much appreciated. smile

Aha.. Yes it just feels so unnatural after sitting with your guitar or whatever and writing a song on the hoof as such. All my melodies, etc are written in tandem with the music so to suddenly separate them is like "Woah". Saying that, I have only done 4 live takes this year because ultimately it's ideal to be able to manipulate vocals separately..

Yeah, you started well and I guess are already above your initial target.. You definitely should strive for completion though- I'm sure even simple songs of yours will be good. smile

Hey dude, thanks again for some lovely comments! Singing along!? Haha.. I thought it would have a more depressive effect than that. And yes, clumsily bashing out piano chords is certainly the way to do it. wink

Ooh, you have a new song too. I'll be sure to give it a listen and comment when I get home from work! smile
  • johnnycashpoint 3 months ago
Sort it out, sweetness, you're falling behind smile As an encouragement, if you had a moment to do this: http://fawm.org/forums/thread/3250/ then I would admire your amazing musicality even more than I do already! If not, are you showing for this open mic next tuesday? x
  •  helenseviltwin 3 months ago
All my songs are about you, silly.
  •  helenseviltwin 3 months ago
Yeah, going back to work is a killer even after a holiday. Poor Keither. sad
  •  helenseviltwin 3 months ago
Is work taking its toll then? No new songs from Keither...
  •  helenseviltwin 3 months ago
    You're still singing U2, though...
  • fractalsleuth 3 months ago
Hi this is late but thanks for the comment! Unfortunately I don't have the ability/patience to actually make a game, but that's alright because the soundtrack would be the most fun part anyway. Love your stuff! smile
  •  valeriecox 3 months ago
I would love to see someone singing Sex while driving. Would be most entertaining.
  •  helenseviltwin 3 months ago
Just working on my morphing song.

Of course you haven't! But then I've not heard of him. Wait, is that the Guillemots dude?
