I am a writer. I have written songs in the past, but since I have a 6 month old daughter I've decided to tweak my FAWM participation. Instead of songs I will be writing poems strictly in form i.e. sonnet, cinquain, pantoum, villanelle, sestina, acrostic, ode, elegy, pastoral, ballad, etc. Maybe I'll invent a form of my own!
