Cooper J Alt has been actively pursuing music as a creative outlet for about 5 years. These pursuits began in high school, plugging out riff-oriented rock tunes reminiscent of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin in his basement. Also being an avid band geek, it wasn't long before Cooper turned his interests toward classical composition as well. Senior year of high school, Cooper took music theory classes and independent studies in composition. Cooper is now pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory/Composition at St. Olaf College. He still writes rock music as well, and is constantly striving toward a style of music wherein both the classical and popular worlds collide.

Cooper was a long-time collaborator with fellow bandmate, Dane Johnson. Recently, he severed collaborative ties to pursue more independent songwriting. He hopes that FAWM will be an excellent opportunity to produce new material and possibly meet like-minded writers and musicians.
