Artist Bio

Influences:   Pixies, Elvis Costello, Spoon, Neutral Milk Hotel, Roky Erickson, Le Butcherettes, Pretty & Nice, The Strokes I listened to a lot of punk when I was younger, so there's definitely a lot of that aesthetic floating around in my brain somewhere.

I know it says I've been around since 2011, but I tapped out super early in that FAWM and didn't come back until 2015, when I actually completed FAWM successfully. I wasn't able to participate last year, though.

I started playing guitar in 8th grade and am completely self-taught. I was in a couple of short-lived gigging local rock bands 8-10 years ago, playing bass and/or guitar and singing. I currently have a non-serious 90s/00s alternative cover band with some co-workers.

My comments on Get Right were accurate and not too kind !!! 😀 It's a good song 😀
ps... I agree with the sentiment of it and I suspect have experienced a similar very bad experience... but none of that has anything to do with the fact that it is a great song 😀

Thanks for the comments! I strum with my nails mostly, then either use my thumb or fingers for melody playing, glad you enjoyed!

Congratulations on making it to the Century Club! 😀

Thanks for listening to Loser Lover. I know what you mean - I can hear a harmony missing too. Rush of the skirmish missed that one!

  • @downfallroad  Feb 17

Always sing like you mean it! Thanks for listening!

  • @boyatheart  Feb 2017

Thanks for leaving a comment on my song and thanks for the observation regarding the bridge - that cheered me up no end! 😀

  • @engebretsen  Feb 2017

Thx for comments on"Hvem skulle det vært" Nice to hear that you liked it, even in a langue you are not familiar with. That makes me really happy. You actually got something out of it! Thx again for commenting that!

  • @tjeff  Feb 2017

Thanks so much for your comments on "Wolf Creek Pass." Truth is, my piano doesn't have a lot of sounds, so accordion just sounded the best to me there! And yep that's me on trumpet - I'm actually a trumpet teacher (as well as other instruments).

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 2017

Thanks for your comment on Tip of the Iceberg! Way to get a lettuce joke in there too 😀

  • @deadhead  Feb 2017

I haven't listened to Dear Prudence in a while, but it was stuck in my head for no reason earlier that day. Not surprised it snuck into Song 1 at all.

Song 2.5 though. That's where its really at. Thanks for tuning in! 😀

  • @marvsmooth  Feb 2017

@ajna1960 needs to get some lyrics to you

  • @deadhead  Feb 2017

Thanks for tuning in to Morning Meadow. I'm glad you liked it 😀

  • @mungus  Feb 2017

Hey man! Thanks for commenting on my track 'where you dedicated it all,'

I really found your comment positive, thank you, I hope it grows on me to as it did for you, looking forward to listening through all of your tracks soon!

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 2017

    Thank you for your comments.

  • @wobbiewobbit  Feb 2017

hehe thanks, that could be squeezed into that joke within the laugh time, might add it if that's ok?

  • @mardeycranbleson  Feb 2017

Thank you for that compliment that was very kind! Guess staying up all night doing skirmishes is worth the trouble...

  • @toms  Feb 2017

Generic, exactly. The slide part was the only thing I thought OK. Thank you for the thoughtful comment. Hey, that Tele on your picture, with the pickups - that looks cool. 😀

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 2017

Thanks for the nice comment on my "Roots" skirmish song. Yeah, the explicit simile/metaphor is usally pretty heavy handed, but it's sometimes allowable in the folk idiom, such as in "Lemon Tree," or "The Way I Feel."

  • @aerlyn Feb 2017

Hey, thanks for commenting on Beyond (Red Dawn)! I actually didn't think of having the end be a choral shout until you mentioned it. Time to find people to collaborate with on vocals then 😀

  • @sw1n3flu  Feb 2017

Yo. so far slow getting back into the groove. But just participated in a skirmish and actually quite happy with the song idea, so fleshing it out properly.... my skirmish at at 3 pm EST today!

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 2017
