Hey FAWMers!! This will be FAWM no 5 for me this year. As well as looking forward to some badass skirmishes with you awesome people - I'm aiming to tap into some genuine songwriting this year, non-conformist and anti-arrangement, all part of regressing back to my songwriting roots of 20 years ago...!
Those of you who know my hubby is a music producer, that he usually helps me out with recording but as he is so BUSY with ProTools Expert I am managing all this on my own! Well it's a leg up from my past iPhone recordings....not that there's anything wrong with lo-fi x

Hi Georgie. Thanks for you kind comments on Sweet Jazz Music. 😀
Thank you very much for the kinds words on "Mandy Lane". I write a lot about movies, especially horror. I do my best to write those songs to people who perhaps aren't into the genre can still enjoy them.
You did it! /nice work! 😁
Wasn't looking for a sinister up to date life, the man just had to end up all alone in his shop and I thought if all and everybody has been carried off by the ambulances, he'd be alone...
But yes, I did reflect unto our tatütatü time
but hey! we're still here ain't we...
Thanks, Georgie. I had a musical idea, but if one has a better one, you're welcome to it.
Ewww, just one more for an even FAWM dozen 😝
Thanks for your comments on Dream Your Life. The glockenspiel / celesta was a reach when I couldn't get the harmonics from an electric guitar where I wanted them. Probably should have used a different guitar/amp combo but why do that when there's toystore instruments at hand? I was pleasantly surprised how well it sounds with REAL CLOSE micing.
hej Georgie! thanks for checking out the livestream. was it too weird? was I too weird? hahahahaha
I'mma do another one for the SS24E in about 20min, if you're interested. 😉
Glad you took my comment in the right way. I know we're not supposed to do "sounds like" comments but that was the vibe I got from your track! Cheers and congrats on all your great stuff so far this FAWM.
You are truly amazing Georgie. It is always so special to listen to your songs but Why wouldn't you listen is my favourite of yours. It is going straight into my heart. Absolutely beautiful work! I have no words to thank you for your comments! You are a star and your comments are very special to me.
Thank you for commenting on the Sorry (Not Sorry) collaboration! That really means a lot to me that you said it was a brilliant collaboration and you liked the chorus! That's HELLA praise coming from someone as epically talented as you are!! 😁
Hey, I appreciate the comments. Yes, writing for a newborn and family is just tough. Wife, promises, "anything" will be fine... eh, ... not so sure due to cultural differences. So, went "away" from the kid and just family in, "Knee Deep, revised" 😀 knee deep hahhh, in so many ways 😝
Thanks for the comments on Dreamed of World Georgie! Week 4 is a "No chord" challenge, so I don't think this one qualifies. One chord challenge was a just something in the forums.
Thanks Georgie, for all of your kind comments. My heart is rolling off my sleeve and dripping all over FAWM this time around. It has been a particularily hard FAWM to engage in but it has in some ways been a good vehicle to express some feelings. Thus, I have really appreciated your empathetic comments!
Thank you for lovely comments on Sweet Jazz. It was fun playing with the lyrics
Thank you so very much for your lovely comment on "I See Your Face"! 😀
Congratulations on making it to the Century Club! 😀
Jump n Bob is available (absolutely no reggae singing allowed, though - it has to be straight), and Market Square is too, or I can see what new things happen. 😀
Thanks Georgie... you're the best. 😀
Hi... thanks a lot on your sweet comment on my song "I can't fix this world".
Thanks for listening and commenting on "Road Trip". Glad you liked it. Have a great week.
Thank you, Georgie, for your encouragement. You're awesome.
Haha you do what you have to, right? 😉
Hi Georgie, thank you so much for the recommendation and continually liking my music! Believe it or not, I have listened to a few of your songs - I've just not commented yet. I tend to whack other people music on when I'm washing up and making dinner etc so not really in a place to sit and compose comments. Anyway, really struggling for time this year but I promise, I'll get round to your stuff properly, even if it does end up being in March!
Thank you! 😀
Thank you for your wonderful comments Georgie. As for my first lyric, I wrote it independently from music, music was created much earlier anyway so it was just a thought. The lyric probably needs something different anyway. Sorry if it made you feel sad reading it.
Hi! Thanks for all the nice comments. I do write some songs in Swedish but during studies we are supposed to use english.
Yeah I know Roger & Mel 😀 They're awesome! Thought you play together from the Soundcloud. The gig is with Wheels who I'm with and Rastko's Chris Allen is doing a solo spot, and possibly another solo set. I can message you with details through your FB band page. Thanks! It will be great to see you live 😀
Thanks so much for the nice comment on my song.
Thank you for your comment on 'The Gift.' 😀
I'm fast becoming a fan of yours Georgie, you are very talented, these are great songs. If you guys are free May 5th would you fancy coming up to Chatham to play a gig with us at the Poco Loco?
FAWM lost a bunch of my watchlist last year and I had to rebuild... It's not your fault!
Thank you, friend, for your response. That just goes to show how we interpret songs differently. Still just as beautiful for completely different reasons.
Fun Skirmishing with you on RoadTrip
very impressed! I love the bass but mine get's pushed aside way too often...not a lick this fawm... I tend to use up all my 4 tracks with voices.
Thanks for including chords...I was happily playing along on my uke with you...You are a wonderful and clever lyricist and player
TOTALLY TRUE except I'm not wearing sunglasses 😎
Thank you so much 😀 My dear friend Liina is a concert cellist who's gotten quite famous, so I'm intensely glad she's always ready to perform my compositions!
Hey, no worries on listening to my stuff...save it for later. you're doin good stuff here!! Keep it up!
But it's not a uke!!! 😉 Thanks for listening to Sesquicentennial...and I'll listen to a couple of your tracks now.
Vielen, vielen Dank for your lovely comment, Georgie!
Thank you for listening to my music and for your kind words! I look up to you so much as an artist. I'm looking forward to hearing everything else you put out this FAWM! 😀
