Artist Bio

Influences:   People. Young, old, living, and dead.

My goals for this FAWM are to have a real good time getting some new music out there. The Una Corda piano will be featured again, with all the usual instruments including Aria nylon string, Yammie P-115, Korg 37 key, a multitude of VST's (Kontakt Komplete 10, OBXd, etc.) I expect the Seagull Merlin will have a spot in there as well. I am especially looking forward to collaborations, so if you hear or see anything, feel free to give me a shout out!

  • @chipwithrow  Apr 12

I'm honored that you'd consider covering one of my songs! Please do - and record it for me!

  • @tiller2  Apr 2

Hey, I'm still around. Thanks for your welcome comment on "My Teddy Bear." Rachel was great and I think I can tweak the mix further. I'll have another dip into your tunes in the next day or two. Cheers

  • @matthew62  Mar 20

Thank you for your kind comments on Mercy Remembers.
    Much appreciated.

  • @barbara  Mar 17

Hi, Mike. I was already planning to come to listen to another when I caught sight of your post in the Updated Demo thread tonight, so I went to YouTube instead. The "Thrill of Memory" collab has grown to be many times more intriguing and intertwined than the first time I heard it in a corpse version. I liked it then; I love it now It feels very complete, even in its mystery. Really beautiful sound weaving!

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 14

    Thank you Mike, likewise.
    Nadia

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 13

Hi Mike, thank you so much for visiting and commenting. I'll let you know as soon as we have the demo. Happy Spring!
    Nadia

  • @sheilerk  Mar 11

Thank you for your comment on my song with Nadia (music songwriter). I loved her little Celtic tune. I'll go back and do a better recording when I'm back from my trip from Seattle, but it's such a fun one to sing!

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 10

Hi Mike, thank you for letting me know. Hope Rachelle feels better soon.
    Nadia

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 10

Thank you Mike for your beautiful comment on my collaboration with Sheila.
    Nadia

  • @reggiestyte Mar 8

One of these years I'd like to do 50/90, but this summer is a bit busy for it. Thanks for asking, though. To hit that many in such a short time, I imagine much collaborating would be going on.

  • @reggiestyte Mar 7

Thanks for "Bird Watchin'" with me!

  • @spinhead  Mar 6

Thanks for chiming in on my Purple Skies. Real happy with that one.

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 4

You are very welcome Mike. Thank you for your beautiful work, collaborations and wonderful comments.
    Nadia

  • @ihelen  Mar 3

Thanks for commenting on my Takeover Casio song! Yes, one of the sounds I used was called "Space Chorus." I never really played around with all of the keyboard's functionality until FAWM so it sure was fun. Hope you have a fantastic weekend! πŸ˜€

  • @sherrycanary  Mar 3

    Hi Mike
Thank you for listening to so many of my songs and your kind and supportive words.

  • @ferry0123 Mar 3

Thanks Mike! Actually, that sounds better than have a fade-outs. Agreed. (Re: All your reveries')

  • @factorytale Mar 2

Thanks for your Nice comment on the collab thing ☺

  • @musicsongwriter Mar 2

Thank you Mike for your wonderful comment on my collaboration with Kristi and Dawn. I'll be back soon listening to your beautiful songs.

  • @ferry0123 Feb 28

Glad you like it! I can tell you I had lots of fine moments working on this, for it's a piece that pretty much stands on its own. And it's nice to have helped you reach 14!

  • @ferry0123 Feb 28

Thanks for asking Mike, right up my alley!

  • @tawny249  Feb 27

I didn't send you them in an earlier email? I thought I did. It should be a word doc.

  • @tawny249  Feb 25

Hi, I finally sent you a recording...if you still want to play with it in our three days left, feel free. If not, I understand. Apologies for the wait.

  • @dee Feb 23

Hi!! sorry for my absence!! Just heard It's up to You. Thanks for your collaboration on it. To be honest originally had an upbeat tempo in mind for it but your take on it is awesome. Thanks again! Dee

  • @robs  Feb 21

Succes! And sorry for the delay

  • @debs  Feb 19

Thanks so much for your lovely comment on "The Road Is So Long, Lord", Mike! πŸ˜€ You know, I actually have been circling back to listen to it quite a lot, so it does feel like an "every night" kind of song.

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 18

Thank you Mike. No, not over the lost chord, rather the lost piece.

  • @scubed  Feb 17

Thank you for your kind words and suggestion on "See What They See"!

  • @valeriecox  Feb 15

Thanks for listening and commenting, Mike.

  • @tiller2  Feb 15

  • @clioem  Feb 12

Well THAT is a compliment 😁 Check out the link at the top of my profile for the novel/backstory too hehehe πŸ˜‰ Thanks for liking it so much!

  • @ferry0123 Feb 11

Sounds like an idea. I'm in for it!

  • @arthurrossi Feb 11

Thanks so much for the beautiful comment, my friend...

  • @andygetch  Feb 11

Thanks Mike, it helps to have great tracks to work with and everybody left some space in the intro/outro that made the fade-in/out on individual tracks pretty straightforward. I only stumbled on how to do that in Garageband after last FAWM.

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 10

Thank you Mike, if possible please send me Wav.
    Nadia

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 10

Hi Mike, thank you for your beautiful demo to the lyric I wrote. Could you please send it to me with the way you are singing the lyric.
    Thank you.
    Have a nice weekend.
    Nadia

  • @metalfoot  Feb 10

Thanks for your great contribution to Exhibit A! πŸ˜€ Cheers and all the best in the rest of FAWM.

  • @fearlessflight2014  Feb 7

Thanks for taking the time to listen to 'What if you died today?' I'm really glad you liked it! Will have a listen while I'm here!

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 7

    Thank you Mike, added you.
    Nadia

  • @fearlessflight2014  Feb 7

I got one up!! It's a bit weird....

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 6

Hi Mike, thank you for your kind comment on my lyric. Will be wonderful to collaborate again. Please let me know if you would like me to add you.
    Nadia

  • @gerrybhoy  Feb 6

Hi Mike, thanks for taking the time to listen, I'll be dropping to have a listen to what you have been up to.

  • @timfatchen  Feb 6

Not so much fortunate, perhaps, but rather you're a victim of my erratic FAWM wanderings. Seriously, though, I thought I looked in before and there was no music, so I waited. Or perhaps I'm just slow in moving around this year!

  • @ferry0123 Feb 5

    Thank you, Mike!

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 4

Thank you Michael, will be fun to collaborate again.
    Nadia

  • @atitlan Feb 4

Thanks for the comment - the strings are just the samples bundled with Studio One. But Tim Fatchen complemented the brass too, so they must be a pretty decent set of orchestral samples. Woodwind is lacking, though.

  • @headfirstonly  Feb 4

Hi Mike - that sounds like an excellent idea. πŸ˜€

  • @tawny249  Feb 4

Hi there! I see you have an email listed on your profile, so I can email you and we can figure stuff out that way if you like. πŸ˜€

  • @barbara  Feb 2

Dropping by to say thank you for reading my skirmish lyric yesterday. I was surprised to see you have two already up! Turns out I don't have my "Watch" button set up on you yet, as I did in 50/90. Fixing that. πŸ˜€

  • @dee Feb 2

Hi Jamkar, you are most welcome to. Feel free to tweak the words to fit your music. Look forward to listening to it. Let me know when you're ready to be added as collaborator.

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 1

Thank you for your kind comment Mike.
