Thanks for the comment on Burn. I got a great distorted bass sound and took it from there. Glad you liked it.

😀 on the Caterpillar song. Writing a round is kind of taking the cheap way out to get one on the board, but I'd wanted to write something that kids could enjoy. Thank you for the comments!

Hey, Jeff, yes I'd welcome your advice on the whooping crane song. My initial reflection is that it is a bit too long or monotonous, and either needs to lose a pair of verses or to convert them into a bridge with a chord change-up. I'll check out more of your songs soon; I'm catching up with non-FAWM stuff this week. Cheers.

absolutely Jeff...feel free that would be great...

Thank you Jeff, for your lovely comments, June Tabor and especially Sandy Denny are heroes of mine 😀 as Roy Harper is. As for 'Vile body' I did record a demo for this but I took it down as I can't carry it. I'd been asked to write music for a play which required different genres so I tried and do a punk and failed! Thanks for listening and I'm glad you enjoyed the songs 😀

The workshop with Richard T must have been amazing! I saw him at Cropredy festival once, he's a legend.

Hi Jeff, Thank you for your encouragement and lovely feedback on 'The Sunny Side of Addiction' So many people felt it was about love and or the dark side of love, but in reality it was about the sun 😀. There, I gave away my secret. lol Thanks also for the lead to Robin Fredericks. i get her newsletter but don't always have time to read it. Last one had some good ideas about imagery which is another thing I am trying to develop. I'll check out her page for melody suggestions. Thanks! I'll be back to check out some more of your work. Cheers!

Hey Jeff, thank you for your kind comments on my songs, I have just started listening to yours, love it and I can hear a Richard Thompson vibe in there, I will be listening over the next few days. Congratulations on your win! 😀 'Seeing Red' was a collab with lovely Cynthia Wolff who was kind enough to send me some killer lyrics! Hoping to re-record and update a demo soon.
