Bio

I make a variety of different styles of music. Most of it strange. I am trying to retain a certain palette for this FAWM project. perhaps even attempt to say something profound through it. I will try to keep the pieces of the puzzle connected, but I make no promises. Here is an example of my previous works.

Thanks for the Zong Bust for Conquer The Challenge! It is really appreciated.

Thanks for your comments on Enchanté… yes perhaps the points you make are what bother me about the track. The chants are a little too much at parts… not sure if reverb would help or make them perhaps muddier…? Anyway, it was an experiment & soemthing to learn from - which I have.

There are some parts that I really like but it's hard to judge the whole track because some of the high end really hurts my ears. I start to notice how everything intertwines and then the filters get really harsh and destroy the immersion. So that's the only thing I want to change at the moment. smile

Thanks! You wouldn't want to hear the raw vocal takes before I've fixed them, though tongue

I can't wait to hear what you do with it (and even more so, our finished product)! And yeah, it's no big deal if doesn't end up in 140bpm. smile

listening to citizen cope now and can definitely see some parallels. thanks for the suggestion!

Hahaha that's the best comment I've gotten so far. big_smile

AND WHAT. Man that sucks. I searched for some mac glitch vsts but they either cost money or would be difficult to use (and have the most awkward pictures. EVER. Naked women with animal heads and instruments in their hands). It also apparently doesn't save information to sets on macs... but if you want to play with it anyway: http://www.kammerl.de/audio/

I don't have any ideas. I usually just open Ableton and do whatever. I do want it to be at 140bpm so I can spin it though. I don't care if it's dubstep or not. I do have this one progression I made a while ago with a preset in Ableton that I love but can never figure out what to do with it. That is if you don't mind using a preset. If you'd rather not, which one of us should start?

    Anyway, here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?b19e2bfphie7h5g

Thank you! I might be a little too lazy though because I love glitch and I end up relying on this too much; http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/ big_smile

    Would you like to collaborate?

Hey dude, cheers for the comment, it genuinely made me laugh. smile

I knooow I just destroyed my second song that I was stupid enough to forget to set the BPM to 140 so I had to start over and just threw together something as fast as possible. I have a guitar but I can't play it very well (way to confirm the stereotype, right?).

Also, just noticed your bampcamp. >.<

I agree. I didn't even think about it and it was pretty rushed. Thank you for the comment. big_smile

Happy to see more Madisonians here! Welcome to the party!

Thanks for the great comment! I've never really toyed with Tape-Hiss. Only had it naturally occur - which I sort of like, give a song an analogue feel.

I see you enjoy Ethiopian food, though. That must mean something, too.
