Influences: Chocolate, fear, reality, and dogs. Not necessarily in that order.
This is my 7th year doing FAWM, although I only lurked the first year. 😊 I’m from Philly, currently living in Delaware, and I have the accent to prove it. I’m going to try a somewhat different approach this year to my writing. We’ll see how it goes! Happy for any feedback. 😊

Hi there! Don't know if you're still on, but thanks so much for your comments for This Old World! I'll be back to listen to some of yours!
Thanks for your comments. Sorry to hear that you have lost a kitty to FIP too <3
Thank you so much for dropping by and taking a listen to my music. I really appreciate your comments and feedback!!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my songs!
Thank you for your feedback on Outdoor Cats. The cat piano is the best thing. A friend of mine gave it to me as a sympathy gift in lieu of flowers and really I think people should just give me weird instruments instead of flowers but anyway it made me. So. happy. and I like to use it in things whenever I can.
You’re so sweet, Nancy! ❤️ Thank you

You're welcome Nancy. Just like songwriting, writing quickly (like what we call skirmishes) gets easier with practice. More info on that here http://fawm.org/forums/topic/8310/ . Listening to other peoples songs and reading the supportive comments (like yours, thank you) are very helpful. Besides being set up to record there really isn't anything I do to prepare for making rapid songwriting choices. I do allow myself about 30-40 minutes for working out words and music, then maybe ten to fifteen minutes to record. Uploading or bouncing is at the mercy of the interwebs. Fortunately no one is too worried about the hour limitations, although late entries get a few fewer comments. Glad to finally 'meet' you this year and I hope to listen to more of your songs.
Thank you so much for the comment on my song Nancy. It means the world to me to have such a supportive group of friends for when we step outside of comfort zone to write these songs. Lots of love!
Thanks for your comment on Brotherly love! (Wasn’t expecting to get any while the skirmishes were still ongoing!) It’s been fun to do an album based around family life with my two boys, certainly leaves me with a lovely snapshot of life to look back on when they’re older!
Thanks a lot, Nancy! I have not had enough free time to apply myself to writing music this FAWM, but at least shooting for quality. Starting to work on something new, maybe get in the last skirmish or two. Hope you're having a great month!
Thanks for your comment on the kids in Brooklyn! I really appreciate that you didn't think it was as mean as I did! Listening to your songs, I love your style and wish I could play like you! Looking forward to hearing more!:)
You are welcome (for the comments on "Date Night") -- it's a masterful amalgam of doubling down on food words. 😁
Thank you, also, for the comments on my song. It's so helpful to hear what stands out to others.
Also, thanks for listening to Centralia. Maybe we've coined a term. I like the way you think.
Thank you for your comments on my song!
Thank you for your comments on my cat/thumb song! ^=^
Hi Nancy and welcome to FAWM!
Happy FAWM! Can't wait to listen to your stuff this year! 😁
Happy FAWM! I just found the song we created together once, in my piano bench: We can't get together because we FAWM too much!
Hoping you have a great FAWM, Nancy!
