Bio

hi. my name's hannah o'reilly. i am a musician, a writer, and a loon. last years FAWM was amazing for me - i wrote and recorded my album 'Stiletto' in Feb 09 (available on iTunes & www.hannahoreilly.com), and i hope to write a few tunes this year, but am not hell-bent on writing the full 14.

the man who inspired most of my FAWM songs last year has just made an abrupt and heartbreaking exit out of my life. and i hope to once again be inspired by him - this time, from a different perspective obviously.

he taught me to live life with no apologies... something that i will be forever grateful for. therefore the theme of my FAWM songs this year will be just that - unapologetic. i do not know what will transpire... it depends where my grief takes me.

[NOTE: All the demos this year have been recorded on my iPhone, using the four track app and the handsfree kit mic... as my laptop died! I reckon they don't sound half bad for phone recordings!]

Gosh, I am so glad that you're back! Was worried that you'd give it a miss this year. Go for it, get it all out of your system and use the whole load of grief as fuel for great songs...
