FAWM #7/8 this year, but who’s counting...
Having fun with my new toy this year, the OP-1 synth/sampler/4-track/sequencer.
Also trying to wrap my head around Ableton a bit more and get experimental, and gee it’s fun!
Open to collabs, so hit me up if you’re keen.
Oh man, donkey kong! Now you're taking me back! I think maybe I was subconsciously drawing on that with the plinky plonk synth bits and the bananas...thanks for the listen and kind comment!
Not really! Worked quite well with the guitar bits with a beat you sent me last year but honestly I’m sure I could work on anything you felt like sending over. Yay! 😀
Exactly that! A fairly bookers thing really. Basically the same concept as the mellotron but with optical discs instead of tape.
Send something over? That’s what we did last year right? I’d love to get going on our 2018 collab! 😀
Lol at the 'fans', you eejit. 😝
Cheers for your comments on 1989, although I feel a bit older now. Keep your ears out for The Stones Roses I’ve never found anyone who didn’t like them.
Cheers for the comments on My tune matey and its funny me and
Dave collab all the time away from FAWM. He's my bro in law and discovered writing a few years ago and since then he's not stopped providing lyrics
I'm never going to argue with a bit of Nick Cave or Tom Waits, lol... You could be onto something. Thanks a ton for listening. 😀
Ha, you bleedin' fool
Thanks for the comment but you only needed to say it once 😉
(and 11 hours apart to boot, ha)
Hey hey! Thanks so much for listening to my first ever FAWM track and your kind words. I was feeling and going for that kind of not too in your face but still a bit funky groove so glad you felt that! Am watching you for more amazing stuff!
Thanks for listening to Be Good Be Else Be Gone. This is the first full song I’ve written in a longtime and it came from nowhere. I initially found the chords, whilst recording them for reference I ad libbed the words. Dan’s a fan of Radiohead, I’m not really so not sure what I was thinking. The muse obviously has his/her reasons. (Karl).
We both like Thundercat! Yay!
Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff this year.
Welcome back! And yes we are due for another collab!
Can't wait to hear more of your wonderful FAWMing... Cheers!
Yessss the Avengers are assembling.
Hello hello! Hope I'm pencilled in for a 2018 collab? Our effort last year was probably my fave thing I worked on all year 😀
Hanners! Hope you're in sir, and you know where to find me..
