Artist Bio

Influences:   Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Eagles, KOL

2016 was my first fawm. I learned that when you got the passion and the drive with a target, the sky is the limit.

Fawm 2016 - 15 songs. (2 collabs, 3 skrms).
Fawm 2017 - ?

1. 14 songs written & recorded.
2. try to push my english vocabulary harder than last year.
3. collaborate with at least 2 new people.

I'm a Websites Developer on the days, singer-songwriter in the nights.

Last year was a very powerful year in my life. I wonder what kind of songs I can get out from that. I missed fawm so much, I missed the people, the music, the feeling and the coffee.. that quiet time with myself in the evening-night after work to just put all the noises in my mind and translate it into a song.

Since last year my English got better but yet I'm not feeling comfortable with many parts of it, so please don't be afraid to leave me comments if I make serious English mistakes.

Here is my favorite FAWM 2016 song:

This year I will also try to maintain a video blog on YouTube with my progress and with featuring other people's songs, so be sure you check it if you wanna add more spice to your FAWM 2017 experience.

2017 video blog:

Search @jonmeta (Jon Nelson) and listen to song #1 Humans...if you have the time today or tomorrow, he wants more voices. Spread the word! (I already sent him mine).

  • @karlsburg25  Mar 1

Massive congrats on14 matey. Wow you really got some writing done the last week yeah? Cannot wait to sit back and be some blissful haim listens over the next few days .

  • @colgoo  Mar 1

Welcome to the finish line! Yes, we are the champions two years in a row! Also, if we both do this again next year, let's plan a collab early in the month....I owe you one (or two)!

  • @guatecoop  Feb 28

    Come on! So close!

  • @judypie Feb 28

Yesssss! You can do it ๐Ÿ˜€ can't wait to hear!

  • @judypie Feb 28

Thank you! Your welcome, your FAWM 17 has been amazing, are you going for 14? Can't stop singing strawberry jam since I heard it!

  • @barbara  Feb 26

Thank you, Haim, for letting me feel that my lyric communicates as I'd hoped it would. It was enough for me that I took some time to give it some expression, because it was a powerful dream, but it's extra nice to hear back that it was felt. I love skirmishes for that raw access! I'm glad you joined in!

  • @jwhanberry  Feb 24

Thanks for your positive comments on "Strawberry Jam". The drumming was not on the guitar but on a small finger drum with a brick shell I found in a thrift store.

  • @yam655  Feb 24

The forum thread for the super skirmish this weekend is http://fawm.org/forums/topic/7227/ (it is extra long!) as the time approaches, there will be individual threads for each skirmish. Just before the skirmish, you find the skirmish-specific thread and keep checking it for when the title/theme is posted. Once it is posted you have an hour. Some people just write lyrics, some people focus on a single instrument they're good at, some people seem to pull off crazy complex things. Whatever you do, when you're done, you post a link to your song on the skirmish thread. Then you have an hour to listen to the other songs from the same skirmish and comment on them. ๐Ÿ˜€

People do whatever skirmishes they can. The whole point of a super skirmish is that there will be a skirmish that's in a perfect time for everyone. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @scubed  Feb 24

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on "Strawberry Jam"! I really appreciate that very much. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @tiller2  Feb 24

    Thanks, friend ๐Ÿ˜€!

  • @tiller2  Feb 24

Thanks for checking out my Strawberry Jam lyrics... the demo is there now. Cheers.

  • @yam655  Feb 23

The secret for me is the 1-hour skirmishes. There is a superskirmish this weekend, and every 2 hours for 24 hours total, there will be a one-hour skirmish, followed by an hour of rest and listening. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @yam655  Feb 19

Congratulations on making it to the Century Club! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 18

  • @kristi  Feb 2017

Thanks for your comments on my lyric, Closer and Closer. Yeah, I miss the dog we used to have too. Not sure how a dog got into my story, but there he was!

  • @heidiserwer  Feb 2017

Thanks so much, Haim, for your kind comments on "Mixtape." Inspiration has been a little hard to come by this time around and your positive feedback was so nice to hear.

  • @boyatheart  Feb 2017

    Hi Haim,
Great to see you back FAWMing this year. I wanted to say thanks for the amazing comment you left on my song. I remember your very positive feedback from last year too.
And... You have a very good ear. That sound you detected on the guitar is a pitch shifting plugin (called "Little Altar Boy by Soundtoys).
I often use it to make single-note guitar line sound a bit like a synth. I mixed the original guitar with the effected on on the last lines of the choruses and it's on the whole intro guitar too.

  • @karlsburg25  Feb 2017

AH i just rewatched the video blog you did with my song in the background. Thanks again matey and now time to attempt to listen to your tunes. Woohhoo

  • @chandra83  Feb 2017

Hey man, thanks for all the comments! I really appreciate you listening to my stuff. Glad to see you're back this year, and yes, I'm totally down to do another collab. You still have my email address, right? We can chat through there, and I'm cool doing piano or synth, whichever you prefer.

  • @arthurrossi Feb 2017

    Thanks so much...

  • @angelinapowersuit Feb 2017

Hi there! Great to see you here again! I did not write a song about being gullible last year (at least that I can remember). But I do remember some very nice things you said about my stuff. And remember some very nice songs of your own! I've also just completed 2 songs. Can't wait to hear yours!

  • @kovbleu  Feb 2017

Hi Haim! Welcome back! I'm just now getting back on the FAWM site and look forward to listening to your beautiful music. February is such a highlight for that very reason and, given how challenging the world is now, it'll be good for us all to connect again and find peace through the magic of melodies and lyrics.

  • @colgoo  Jan 2017

Hey! Thanks for the note on our board! We love FAWM and all the FAWMers. Also looking forward to hearing your new music. The feeling and vibe on I'd Get Into Trouble For You. Great mix, great instrumentation, deep feeling. ๐Ÿ˜€ We also have full-time day jobs (Chris actually has two companies he's managing). Personally, I can't think of a better way to spend a February. - Kelly, A72.
