Thanks for your comment on 3 shots of Applejack, singin' sweet Caroline. Not sure if I'd want to insert the melody from Sweet Caroline into it; that's an interesting idea. I'll have to think on it. Too tough to put to music for now.

  • @scottlake  Mar 29

All I need is the tempo and a high quality MP3 file.

  • @tseaver  Mar 19

I grew up in Wedgewood (my parents are still in that house), and went to Country Day School as a faculty brat. My sister was at Southwest High, and most of my church friends were at Pascal.

  • @kevinemmrich  Mar 18

Did you want the chord progression fro "Running" or have you figured it out already? I put the DOCX file here, just in case: https://www.dropbox.com/s/11jhp0pyvcj...

  • @harmonicdirt  Mar 18

Thank you for letting us know about our reverbnation link! I fixed that 😀

  • @moonraccoon  Mar 13

Thank you for your kind word on my songs! Yes, I Wanna Be Metal was a LOT of fun to make 😀

  • @jmadison  Mar 13

Wow. Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by, listening and commenting on so many of my songs. I am out of time for listening, but I want to dig around here when I get a chance....

  • @tseaver  Mar 12

Fun to find that you're from Fort Worth: I grew up there, and still get back to visit my folks there.

  • @monty  Mar 12

Thanks fo taking the time to listen and comment on my songs. I haven’t shared any songs on the PGmusic site but if I get a better vocalist, I might. 😉

  • @srcoops Mar 12

Thanks for your nice comments onThe Worker. I appreciate your kindness.

  • @zecoop  Mar 11

Glad we could get it to work out. Not sure why it wasn't playing, as it is uploaded to the same place all the others are. She wrote the words at work, apparently (on lunch break OBVIOUSLY) and then recorded them that night. Couldn't be happier with how that song turned out. Thanks for the listen. 😀

  • @jamkar  Mar 11

    😊

  • @zecoop  Mar 11

Thank YOU for all the listens and nice comments. I really appreciate it. The only reason there isn't a download button on Shades and Shadows is because the 4th member of the band hasn't gotten his guitar part yet... But I'll switch it anyway. Check back in five minutes. 😀

  • @monty  Mar 11

Thanks for the empathy on Mediocre Blues. 😉 Looks like you had an impressive FAWM.

  • @zecoop  Mar 11

Fair enough. I hear something very similar to your point about summer from my brother in North Carolina. Buuuutttt... I'm definitely 100% a hot weather person. I can't stand winter. So why do I live in Michigan? Family and the great lakes. I can see us heading to warmer places during the winter when we retire. Thanks for listening!

  • @metalfoot  Mar 11

I just want to say THANK YOU for the wonderful comments. I'll be repaying in kind later on... off to my daughter's dance recital now (she's Footling#1 of the @metalfootlings).

  • @kevinemmrich  Mar 10

You did a lot of commenting today!! Thanks for taking so much time on my tunes, it is greatly appreciated. I did put songs on the BIAB user showcase for quite awhile. I just searched the songs list with "Emmrich" and it looks like I haven't posted a new one since 2014! In 2015 I did a cd at bandcamp where I used BIAB extensively on 12 of the 14 songs. You can listen for free (or just sample) my biab stuff at https://crowssayveeeh.bandcamp.com/ . I used biab a bit in 2016, but in 2017 or 2018 I haven't used it at all. But I do like it quite a lot and will break it back out. I am trying to get through the "who's still here list", but I will try and camp out at your page for a bit also!

  • @ferry0123 Mar 10

  • @artistunknown Mar 6

Thanks for the comments! For "Bright Future" - Yeah, it starts off slow, I really like long buildups so I wanted to try to do that. I'm glad you thought the payoff was worth it!

  • @berni1954  Mar 5

Thanks for your comment on "Follow My Footsteps"
I really enjoyed my two collabs with Sheila. She is such a life-affirmative writer.

  • @aneil Mar 5

thx for comment on She's a strange one. I agree really enjoyed the music added on this collab!

  • @suziewithaz  Mar 5

I do write music for all my songs. I do not like the recording/ performing process. I am working on solutions. Thanks again for ALL the reviews and taking the time to read my lyrics.

Thank you for your kind reviews!

  • @rainchaser  Mar 3

  • @berni1954  Feb 24

Thanks for your comments on a number of my songs, Jim.

Describing where I am from is kind of difficult. But here is a very potted biography:

Born in Liverpool, England, to a family with Irish roots on both sides of the family. I spent my childhood in Lagos, Nigeria, attending a US school there- very handy as I am comfortable using US spelling or UK spelling.

I have an Irish passport and I have lived for the last 32 years in Catalonia where I translate from Catalan into English or else teach translation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

All my adult life I have either been a solo singer-songwriter, wrote songs for theatre plays, or else formed part of a band. I currently front "The Saturday Blues Project" and contribute new songs to the Seasons of the Ukulele on Ukulele Underground dot com every week.

  • @berni1954  Feb 24

Thanks for your comments on my songs! So appreciated!

  • @theseanovan Feb 21

Thank you so much for your kind words on my songs. It's really not all that often that someone takes the time to listen to every single track and leaves honest feedback.

I could take a few lessons from you! I always appreciate it!

  • @sherrycanary  Feb 19

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 18

Thank you for your kind comment on mine and Cindys collab.
Ansolutely not offended but you are right on thos case it was intentionally bursted instead of burst. Sonce it gives more effect (in my interpretation of darkness)

  • @mmmmarcus  Feb 18

Thank you very much for the comments on "Help Yourself". Plan is to do a female vocal version also, so it's in the making.

Thank you Gem for your kind words on A Pinhole Through the Veil. I'm glad you liked it. Watchlisted you right now. 😀

  • @bachelorb  Feb 17

Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate them. I looked up Matthew 17:3, and you are right. I was just trying to convey his thoughts at that moment of his life. One again, I appreciate what you said

  • @alyxanderjames  Feb 17

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my songs and leave such thoughtful comments! I really appreciate it.

  • @klaus  Feb 16

Hi Gem. Thank you so much for your many comments. About that crescendo, it is very easy to do in Reaper. You just add a volume envelope that automatically changes the volume of a certain tracks.

Everything else but vocals and guitar is Yamaha PSR-770 keyboard. 😀

  • @quork  Feb 16

Hey, thanks for taking the time to listen to my songs and for your great comments. Much appreciated. Like you, earning a living gets in the way of my songwriting, but it's my biggest hobby. I look forward to listening to your work this month.

  • @valeriecox  Feb 16

  • @bradbrubaker  Jan 25

Thanks for listening to "If I Miss your Funeral." I listened to "Pictures" and the lyrical twist threw me for a loop! Very cool.

Also worthy of note is that I visited Forth Worth for the first time this year. I visited the Stockyards and had some tasty ice cream at Melt.

  • @jamkar  Jan 25

Thank you for the listen to Good Day! I notice you are a fellow Texan. Happy FAWM!
