Influences: Dilettantism and jazz
I'm Will. I play guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, melodica, and attempt all sorts of other things. I've been writing songs since I was 12, and have done five FAWMs and a 24-hour album, as well as writing and recording loads of other songs on my own and with several bands.
After writing LOADS of songs in 2013 I kinda lost momentum. Let's see what happens this year.
2011 - 9 songs
2012 - 9 songs
2013 - 18 songs!
2014 - 3 songs
2015 - 1 song
Note: I know that's not how you spell "zeros". I was going to make something up about it relating to the opposite of "heroes", but... no, I was just having a slightly thick day when I first signed up to FAWM.

Your next three song titles: (1) "Struggling" ("Struggling with it"), your choice of "it". Women? Black dog? work? liquor? Money?
(2) "Four" four what? why not four zeroes? you haven't done that, from memory! Not four strong winds, tho', that's been done!
(3) "Inspiration" make it humorous. think of all those hooky rhymes: perspiration, frustration, inebriation, palpitation.
And you did that, apart from mis-spelling: "Struggling for inspiration", you said!
Thanks for the comment! That means a lot to me as Kraftwerk were a favourite of my childhood - first heard "Autobahn" on an archive clip used in a BBC documentary, which I recorded on video and watched over and over again.
Yes, really. "Dust" is near perfection in its current form, with that powerful 12-string and especially the drawing-on "ooh" from the story-teller's audience who want more. And the hushed "ooh" toward the end. I don't know that you need do much to it. I would listen to it in a set of worthwhile permanent rotation form songs, oh, at least once a fortnight, more if I'm driving long distance!
Hey, c'mon! Only 3 songs in 2014 but one of them was "Dust" and that's worth 20 alone....
Thank you for your words on "Karn Bounce". You really got stuff done just from hearing it? Maybe I should enlist the song in the superhero competition.
I assume its called Begging you, as that's the hook, and I would love to know if was ever completed but have looked everywhere and can't find any complete versions. I did find a demo cover but that is just of the incomplete demo that Brian has up on youtube
