Influences: Dilettantism and jazz
Note: I know that's not how you spell "zeros". I was going to make something up about it relating to the opposite of "heroes", but... no, I was just having a slightly thick day when I first signed up to FAWM.
I'm Will. I play guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, melodica, and attempt all sorts of other things. I've been writing songs since I was 12, and have done two FAWMs and a 24-hour album, as well as writing and recording loads of songs I've taken a little more time over on my own and with several bands.
If you're only going to listen to one of my songs, and want a cheeky, upbeat one, I'd recommend *686. If you want a slow, serious one, I'd recommend *1074. Somewhere in the middle, there's *279.
Oh, and completely not relevant to my profile, but I am using and loving this FAWM jukebox: http://bunnyherolabs.com/fawm/

Hi, I loved the fact that you consider me a sincere robot instead of a fake person, that's a great way of looking at it.
Now I'm able to enjoy my own song a little more, thanks.

Thanks, Will! I am off with the kids to see the Irish Rovers - in Flint, Michigan! - but I promise I will come back and listen to all of your stuff! ![]()

thanks for your comments. I've had a bit of a stressful day and to log in and see your 'who put the meow in homeowner though?' really really cracked me up. So thank you.

Thank you for your kind words on "What would Bill Bruford have done".

Thank you for visiting and giving "Elvis is from Mars" a comment. It was fun to record! Congratulations on your win!
@tawalker Feb 27
Thanks for your comment on my song "Being Your Film" - I'm intrigued about The Free French now! (I've heard of Rhodri Marsden, and their Web site looks intriguing... though if it were a building, it would be half-invisible behind ivy and weeds
)

Thank you for your very lovely comment on Your Own Crown of Thorns (and by the way, not insensitive in the least!). I was touched, and to read that it gave you shivers, well, that's the highest form of compliment to me.

So glad to hear you like the Extraordinary Girls album! Took us forever to complete it, but 'twas fun. ![]()
Congrats on 16 songs. I have one more to go for 14. Keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Thanks for checking out my "Goes to..." song. It was fun to make a lot of noise with a wall of distorted guitars.
It turned out quite different than anything else I did this year, so that's a success in my book. I enjoyed a couple of your songs this morning and will try hard to come back for more. Congrats on the win!! ![]()

That'd be awesome to hear! *hugs* I love hearing what people do with my lyrics.

Thanks for listening and commenting on my zombie song!
@bijoubasil Feb 20
@fourzeroes i made all those noises into the mic with some kind of effect on top of it but still it's pretty organic. I did some whistling, cheek slapping, bass in monster voice, chewing rice crispy cereal, and vibrating my lips together for the trumpet sound. Very strange ensemble but it works.
@ahjteam Feb 7
Thank you for the positive comments and even plugging one of my songs on the forum, really appreciate it ![]()

Ah bless ya! Thanks man. I'll be re-recording that song later this year and doing a video hopefully ![]()
Annoyingly I can't listen to any of your stuff at the moment cos work have blocked dropbox links .. but you're on my watchlist so I'll catch up when I get some free time at home!

I had never heard of Harmonitalk but I have now. Holy crap! So good to hear people doing creative things with the harp. Thank you!!!!
@mschizzle Feb 5
thanks for the comment! I'm also a lover of harmonies but was too excited about the song to think of harmonies just yet ![]()

You mean just overdub the one I've already recorded? I'd be perfectly fine with that. ![]()

I was thinking the same thing, I may do that when I polish it up later. Thanks! ![]()

Thank you for the compliment! I'm afraid I must disappoint you, though; there are not to be any recordings unless other people want to set them to music, which is perfectly fine by me. For one, I don't have any recording software or equipment. For another, I can't play any kind of instrument worth a damn.
@musicsongwriter Feb 2
Thank you for your nice comment, I'm afraid the photo was a real time accident which happened to me in Summer-I didn't see the step and came "flying", my knee is still bruised...
