This will be my 9th FAWM. My styles are all over the place. Sometimes folkish, others synth-pop or the murky areas in between.
This year, the theme is "W". As of song four, it seems that all songs begin with the letter "W". This, I assure you, is purely by coincidence, and will be remedied if song five appears...
Thanks for the comment! I work in Madison, so we're close! lol
Thanks for the heads up on the link. It was entered correctly, must be a bug in the FAWM site. I just changed it so it doesn't have the prefix (like yours) and now it works!
Thanks so much for listening to A Speck of Dust! That's Carl Sagan at the end... We love how he brings context to the scale of things 😎
Thanks for checking out Termech. The modular started with a Moog Mother 32, which is doing the bass drone AND the cutoff/resonance tweeting stuff. Rene is doing the arpeggio, and there's Richter osc, an LFO and Optomix in the sound here.
And Xpand was a freebie that came with Pro Tools. I have a broken Waldorf Blofeld that I picked up used last year, but since it's not putting any sound out, I used Xpand.
Paul, sling some various styles at us this February. Looking forward to it.
Best of luck to you during FAWM 2018!
