So excited. FAWM is such a magical thing and pushes me to explore new places within my art. Thank you all for coming together for this every year.

If anyone wants a remote violin recording for a song, hit me up at fiddlerblick2017@gmail.com

Hanging in sunny Los Angeles for FAWM2018 so there will probably be many ocean-inspired tunes. Let me know if you’re in town!

Check out the tour schedule and come say hi if we pass through your town or kitchen.

Oh thanks! I hope you are okay!

  • @spinhead  Feb 23

This Blueridge tenor puts melodies in my head no matter how I noodle around with it. Powerful tool for FAWMing.

    Awesome!!!

I always find the juxtaposition of a major key with darker or sad feeling intriguing and provoking so definitely could see and feel that - could also hear it more driving than a slow ballad like the freezing rain was driving last night against the window! The tug at your heart minor key with sad/darker lyrics and slow ballad are often was is excepted and what would work... but for me the unexpected adds to the tension so major key with interesting chord progressions with a bit of driving feel could be truly awesome! But lastly as a lyriscit I feel that I sometimes can not fully imagine the possibilities as beautifully as a musician might so I am always open to musical interpretation that resonates with the musician. Interested? Totally yours if you want it! I love your music!

Hi Sarah. Thank you for your kind words. 😊
I'd be delighted if you added words and singing to one of my twiddles. Just help yourself if anything takes your fancy. Drop me a line if you need me to send any audio files over to you.

Ooh; glad "Flower Print Dress" worked for you. It almost made itself into a happy song, but it wanted to be what it wanted to be.

H Sarah, just want to say hello and welcome to Fawm. I may need some fiddle this month, if I get to that point will ask.
