Hi Peter, if you'd like to work on As She Dreams that's fine. @raygungirls put music to it also but I don't mind having multiple versions.

"Classical" piece (more like an old folk tune, but I found it on a classical guitar collection) complete! See "If I Were Her Guitar."

Still working on converting a classical piece; I have two rolling around in my brain.

  • @f3bb0y Feb 17

Started a new song; wrote two verses, then realized that they were not as connected as I thought - one song becomes two! Changed the chords and rhythm and "I Don't Like People" comes from verse 2. Watch for "Just Go" in a bit.

Well, today is the fourteenth and I have completed 5 songs - well behind the "song every other day" pace needed for 14 songs in 28 days. On the other hand, five songs in two weeks is certainly productive for me! On to the challenge of using a classical piece; I have two rattling around in my head. I hope something gels soon. It seems that being intentional about writing has focused me a great deal. So, will I produce 14 songs? To be determined. Has it been a good experience? Absolutely!

My game plan is to use various song-starting techniques to get 14 songs. I tend to start with lyrics, so I will free-write around a color, weather, life event, emotion, character, daily news story, etc. I will try various chord progressions and rhythms. Should be interesting!
