Thanks a lot for your very sweet comment on Nebulae, I'm glad you appreciated the ambiguity smile
I will come back for your stuff.

    Hey you. HOw are you?

Whoa, you speak German too? All sorts of coolness...
  • waltermosch 1 week ago
Hallo, leider kein Song von dir hier. Dann schau ich später nochmal vorbei. Grandioses Foto;-)

Hello my friend....I keep checking back here hoping for a new tune, alas! Thanks for giggling at my ridiculousness. I'm glad to know someone else out there shares my warped sense of humor. wink For reals though, is there a tune coming soon I hope? How the heck are you?
  • bmullany 1 week ago
Thanks for the tip on open tuning . I came to the same concclusion when I tried playing aan open mic Wednesday. Thank God they had a great house band to cover my butt.

Thanks for your encouragement ! I usually just write when something pops into my head but this process makes me actually plan a list of subjects - totally backwards for me.I obsess on lyrics flowiing to th beat. I gave up guitar this year because of Parkinson's Disease (PD) so I just sang them on a flip camera

It'c ccool gettitng feedback from other writers

Hi Erik. So happy to see you back. Your chorale piece was one of the highlights of last fawm for me. Really looking forward to hearing your creations this year smile
  •  jennsings 2 weeks ago

    Thanks for the compliment! big_smile

I wish all of the influences came thru in all of my songs but that might be impossible.

I'll be checking out your demos too. Good luck!
  •  ianuarius 3 weeks ago
Hello there! Are you another one of those Beatles nerds? big_smile
I'm gonna wanna hear your materials. Making some demos this year?
  •  debs 3 weeks ago
Oops! Should I not have posted that on my profile? Allooooo, Erik! We should repeat collab unless you are tired of listening to my voice. I totally wouldn't blame you. And if it's a slow grower like the last time, it is also all goods smile
  •  robynmackenzie 3 weeks ago
Ah! I'm not even sure how to respond to a reverse jinx! D: If I say, "I agree," does that render it a double negative and then re-reverse your jinx? Or would that be if I said, "No, I don't agree?"

In any case, looking forward to hearing what you come up with this year! And also what we (((((won't)))) do! (I hope the extra parentheses kept the reverse jinx working)

I've got the Lewisohn stuff. It's been some time since I read it though. While I was reading Emerick, I kind of wanted to have the Lewisohn at hand to check some facts - ie. that Lennon didn't appear at all on several songs on... the White Album, I think, but I couldn't be bothered... LOL

I always wanted to get this: http://www.recordingthebeatles.com/ but I can't justify $100+ for it. Although it looks like a great package.
  •  nicksypniewski 3 weeks ago
Well, I'm not sure the previous goal was quantity over quality, but, on listening back after a decent amount of time, a lot of them felt like they were sort of lacking interesting arrangement ideas and such. A lot of V-V-C-V-V-C-C out... So, the goal is to try to make them more musically interesting. We'll see.

Btw, just finished reading Geoff Emerick's bio. Not sure I learned anything new except for his huge man-love for Paul. smile
