I DO like road songs. I guess I want to get on the road. Maybe this year, I can explain WHY I want to get on the road.

While I may not be a poet, I can usually tell a story...
In fact, my music and lyrics tend not to be all that complex...yeah--simple--we should all have some simplicity in our lives. As for my music-- simple is just fine as long as I am having fun and making music I like listen to myself. It is what it is. That said, I do welcome constructive comments and ideas that can help me do a better job musically, or help me refine or define my lyrics better, or to learn a new cool recording method that would "fit". Thanks in advance for that!

If I post anything here you want to put to your own music, please FEEL FREE! Hearing another persons musical take on lyrics is always cool!

Now for this year...less BS. I want songs that reek of reality.
I have a few songs listed that I locked... 2 are too incomplete and one is just not fit for public consumption...

Ha! what a small world, I know Katie. She's even one of my Facebook friends. She used to come to the open mic I host, Monday Night Poetry & Music in Downtown Charleston. This was before she moved to California and had her son.
