Bio

I write songs. I mean, we. We do. There's a lot of us. The diffusion of responsibility is great. So great, in fact, that if you were to blame any one of us, you'd have to round down to the nearest person. Therefore, it's really nobody's fault. I mean, not that you'd blame us for anything. It's purely hypothetical. So anyway, songs.

Misc FAWM 2010 goals:
1) Collab with people I haven't FAWM-collabed with before: Glenn Case and Debs and Helen! (And others, if there's time, but I must not commit yet!)
2) Do something Wikipedia-ish. This might bomb horribly, but it's worth the risk. [excitation needed]

4) Write for myself. Hope nobody notices my songs. And lock them just in case someone would.

yo thanks for listening. The slow attack is literally just struming the chord with the volume knob down and then turning it up. It was a pain to do and took about a million takes to get it (almost) right, I have heard of these things called "expression pedals", sounds like witchcraft to me. And when I was putting the genre tags on the song I put in 'twee' and it came up with 'tweemo', I'd never heard of it before but it seems like a fairly accurate description.

Hey there! Cheers for the comment, think there's some mutual admiration in the songwriting departments!

I get my parts to work together by starting off simple (usually with chords), then bit by bit replacing them with other bits of tune, maybe only a couple of bars at a time. I like everyone to have a crack at a tune so it works out quite nicely... More tunes needed though...
