Bio

This is my 5-year FAWMiversary! I guess that means one of my songs will be about wood (or silverware??). It'll be tricky this year, because I'm leaving halfway through to go to Europe, and I won't be returning until wayyyy after FAWM ends. I hope my travels will encourage and not inhibit my songwriting, but I also want to stay in the moment while I'm there, so I guess we'll see what happens.

If you are still up for it, here is the start of a backing track that is about as far away from your (awesome) "Ukelele zone" as I can get (without having a tuba handy). 170 bpm

More baffling is that She & Him have a song that uses "shelf" without even using it as a rhyme, as if it were a legitimate metaphor and not one simply created for easy rhyming.

LOL - your Bio about 5th anniversary and wood reminded me of my own 5th anniversary, where I had my wife running from note to note, finding "wooden" gifts and clues to the next gift. I had her going even to neighbors homes in search of clues. I was actually pretty creative with both the gifts and clues having wood themes - and it was a riot watching my wife running around the neighborhood, like her own private Easter Egg hunt. LOL
