2018 eh? *spits*

Your piteous host has been deceased for some time now, and is the first of his kind to be cursed with a reverse haunting. The official record states that the offenders left the body to rot while still inhabiting the area, and instead of the deceased [C. Vulpine]'s ghost haunting them, they haunted it. No signs of improvement or reversal have been noted at this time.

  • @candle Mar 7

Not sure if you still haunt this place now that March has come. But I have at last posted our collab. Again, thank you for the inspiration & your ongoing support - as well as sharing your musical performance. I will e-mail you to make sure you get this message.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @quork  Mar 4

On further review he suggested we might want to collaborate on a sea shanty.

  • @pariskis Mar 3

Hi, tx for commenting and listening 😀 cheers

  • @amproductions Mar 2

Thank you for your comments! Means a lot. I still have to listen to your last couple songs, which I’ll do today. I’m pretty sure you would like “shuttering reflections“ as well. I would definitely love to work with you if you’re interested. If you get the chance, tell me what you think of this one! http://fawm.org/songs/81823/

  • @gbg2016  Mar 2

Well hello there and thank you for your delightful comment. You made my day.

  • @defaultdave  Mar 2

Ha! I am glad that when you heard of an insane song, you think of me 😀

Come on over, we are hiring! 😉

  • @spinhead  Mar 2

Ah, I knew the right kind of madness inhabited My Body’s 100.

  • @candle Mar 1

I am still working on completing Scarecrow. I seem to be having some issues with lining things up properly. But then, the DAW I use is a bit of a beast. I hope to get it sorted out tomorrow as I have run out of energy tonight. I'll keep you posted as to my progress…

  • @cowex  Mar 1

Love your writing so much (comments and songs), you goof. Thanks for the confirmation on banjo. I'll keep an eye out for sacred texts and subsequently ignore them.

  • @gslade Feb 27

It finally hit me when I looked at michael epic's page and he referenced way she wobble. I remember him because of some interesting feedback I got from him on some stuff back in 2012. Interesting for sure.

  • @gslade Feb 27

Do you still have that song we did about the train crash?

  • @gslade Feb 27

About to sit back and listen to your stuff. We definitely need to work together again, even if it's not in FAWM.

  • @johncrossman  Feb 27

Some people might find it odd to be referred to in song by a stranger. You are not some people. http://fawm.org/songs/83771/

  • @cnidaria  Feb 26

My approach to collaboration is that someone starts with an idea and then the next person builds on it and you bounce back and forth until it (ideally) turns into a song that both parties are happy with. Definitely agree that this process should not rushed.

On that note, I'll what I come up with today and send it your way.

  • @cnidaria  Feb 25

After hearing "A Dance for Malentina", I very much want to collaborate with you, but I have some concerns about February's fast approaching end. Are you open to collaborations? Thoughts on throwing something together last minute, or should I come knocking in 2019?

  • @amproductions Feb 22

You were a big inspiration for the style of my latest song. As well as the band SikTh and a little bit of MSI. I would love your opinion on it!

  • @candle Feb 21

Just sent you an e-mail with info re: Scarecrow collab. Let me know your thoughts.

  • @iwilleatyou Feb 20

My shitty attitude? Fucked up shit I do? I'm a fucking bizarro freak?
Aw shucks *blushing* Compliments embarrass me.

  • @defaultdave  Feb 18

Shot ya an email! Thanks man! Love your stuff!

  • @defaultdave  Feb 18

Would you be interested in laying down some Mando on a bluegrass kinda song? Ping me if so, will email ya.

  • @gslade Feb 17

Remember that time we killed models? At least I think we did. There was a lot of whiskey and yelling and general excitement of a dire nature.

  • @candle Feb 17

I would be honoured. I have been thinking of what role you could play out in The Field. I think I need to get something more put together for the tittle track before the right thing comes into focus. Thank you again for all of your support.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @mantra  Feb 16

    Hhh mhm hmmh hhww.
[Mantra is glad you agreed on what he said in the forum thread.]

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 15

Haha yeah this was a real dreamjob:) Thanks for the kind words

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 15

I am so happy you loked it. Thanks for sharing

  • @candle Feb 15

For my tittle track, I'll be using your words re: the Scarecrow (oft quoted in my liner notes). I hope this pleases you & that you can allow for more of this artistic thievery. I would even think it appropriate to count you as a collaborator on the track if that is alright with you. Again, thank you for your continued comments & continued support. I'll be back on my lunch to listen to your tale regarding the succubus.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @cblack  Feb 15

Your comments on my songs made my day just now. 😁 So glad that you thoroughly enjoyed them! And yes, my songs do tend to be in their own little world. In fact, that's what I'm hoping to achieve. I seem destined to make music that doesn't match up with any particular genre, yet is still (hopefully) musical. So I've embraced this tendency. Own Little World productions is me. 😝

  • @candle Feb 14

No you probably didn't know about my writing. Tho, perhaps… At any rate, I've got a bunch of stuff on my scribd page (same link as the short story). The Argentrooper Chronicles (a divided novella of sorts) sort of picks up where the Virlorian short story ends up going (tho, thousands of years later). I should really get around to uploading more of my stuff to Scribd, because there's a lot of stories that the Virlorians are a part of - or have influenced in some way. Anyway, thanks for your great comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the songs so far. My next task is to write the tittle track for the concept album - so lookout: the Scarecrow is coming.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @monplaisir Feb 14

Thanks for your kind words 😝 Having an income to compose would be so great, haha. Maybe one day 😁

  • @vomvorton  Feb 14

Sir, your kind words have indeed turned me into an Incredible Melting Man!

  • @candle Feb 14

Captain, my dear Captain - indeed the violet pink violates the senses, but I am glad you could experiænce my megre offerings. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Perhaps there is something stalking int he depths of the pulsar - to be honest, I didn't delve too deeply. But there seems to be something lingering in the depths… a ragged man of sorts perhaps?

Alas, to my bed I must retreat for the morn comes far too early these days!

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @stevenwesleyguiles  Feb 13

I don't think I could hate anything you do! 😀

  • @benbarden Feb 12

Hey, thanks for your comment on "Psionetrics" 😀

  • @billysea  Feb 12

It is always good to cross paths with you Capt. I must have missed it, but when did you move to Oregon? Last I remember you were in SoCal but it seems like many years since we were at a FOP.

  • @candle Feb 11

You make an interesting point. Do the fates mock us? Perhaps. But then, I have always thought that the only way the Fates have ever amused themselves is by mocking meer mortals such as us. But then, we are artists - we are more then "mere mortals". As the late great Leonard Cohen once waxed poetic: "Everybody knows you live forever once you've done a line or two."

I will have to keep an eye on this @scarecrowjack . Perhaps this omen will lead to a greater understanding of the metaphor I'm exploring.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @candle Feb 10

A pirate's ghost is a ghoul that may even make a lich think twice before attcking mere mortals…

I am so happy to hear new material. And again, thank you for your Scarecrow blessings.

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @looprication  Feb 9

    HOORAY! You're back!!

  • @sapient  Feb 9

Righty-oh. Let's move the discussion off here so the sweaty masses can't see what diabolical plans we are hatching. I believe I have an electronic mail address for you somewhere...

  • @sapient  Feb 9

That link you sent... Bonkers doesn't even come close! Though it was awfully like season 1 of Westworld.
This alt-counrty kick I'm on is weird. Wanna play?

  • @metalfoot  Feb 8

  • @scarecrowjack Feb 8

Lived in shadows, now live in lenses.
Sinzeral says changing world above, it means changing world below.

  • @scarecrowjack Feb 7

    Have made summons.
Have come. Tax of blood and turmoil.
    At your service until complete.
    Then return to mud.

  • @cts  Feb 5

WTH!?! I thought you were lost at sea, man! You're alive!?! I'm glad you're here, but normally there's some fanfare with your presence.

  • @fawmerdave Feb 4

    Hey, thanks for the compliment!

  • @amproductions Feb 4

I bow to the all mighty Captain. You make me want to be a better masochist. Love the first two songs. Can't wait for more. Missed you buddy.

I'm glad you liked the piece. ^^ Looking forward to hearing yours too! 😁

  • @aquamunkee  Feb 1

Haha! Your comments never fail to amuse, and now I want to stop composing and redirect my efforts to video game design. Don't worry, you will get royalties.

Great to see you here Cap'n!

  • @chasingandromeda  Jan 25

Captain! Will we be hearing from you this year? I sure hope so!

  • @candle Jan 23

You sir are a scholar & a gentleman. Thank you very much!

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @candle Jan 15

p.s. (speaking of Dirges) Your mutinous philosopher & his Scarecrow (along with other underlings) has inspired me. If you don't mind, I think I am going to run with the idea that struck me the first time I heard you sing about being crucified & stuffed with straw & being condemned to live a lie. Love that image! Again, if you don't mind…

  • @candle Jan 15

I see you have a new Christmas Album. I am awaiting monetary embellishments before I can procure a copy. I hope you will grace us with your mad genius this FAWM as it has been too long since I have heard a good dirge or sea shanty. I look to the horizon for signs of masts coming hither.
