I just graduated from Madison Media Institute in Madison, WI last month with an associate's degree in applied science with a focus on recording and music technology. I am 22 years old and I mainly play guitar, bass, and hand drums, and I sing. While my dream is to one day own my own full recording studio, I plan to continue writing songs for the rest of my life. A lot of the songs I write are about overcoming hardships, political frustrations, and people who influence my life in any way that inspires lyrics to flow from a pencil to some paper. I have written dozens of songs, and the FAWM challenge is an excellent way for me to hone in on my writing skills and fill in time that for the last two years has been engulfed in homework.
