Bio

Back for another year. And I'm happy to say that I finally got some decent recording equipment, so the Olympus has gone the way of the Dodo. Big THANKS to Devin!! Since last year's FAWM, I've been busy with the gang at Songwriters Anonymous ( http://www.dragondreams.org.uk/SAforum )

I've been at this for a while now. An independant at heart since '98, have released cds with Virgo (As Is), solo (So Far) and with The Fireweed Company (As Long As You Know). I gig with The Fireweed Company and on my own, and If you'll have me, I'll join you on stage for a note or two. My songwriting is deeply influenced by rural life and the loneliness that city living will bring.

Very open to collaborations, especially with the new recording gear. I play guitar, bass and sing. Hope you like what you hear!

Here's one of the newer songs I've written: http://soundcloud.com/brzan/killaloe

Well, it was a news story that ran recently, so it sort of wrote itself. I swear I pretty much lifted it off of the news service! Thanks for commenting/listening/liking the "pickers" Rob.

Since I'm already in your Watchlist, all you need to do to make me a collaborator is to select my handle from the "Collaborator" pull down menu. I wouldn't normally expect collaborator status for a drum part, but that polka gave me blisters, so I'll take it!

    brilliant idea!

    Rob,
I did come to listen to Moja Zena, but both times I tried to play it, it completely froze my browser, it happened one other time today with another song on here. I'm a bit reluctant to try again immediately since the freeze takes a few minutes to cure. But I do want to hear it.
I'll try to come back later sometime. If you don't hear from me, and it slipped my mind (sorry in advance) feel free to give me another nudge. Dying to hear it, and to listen to it develop.
    wolf.

Thanks Rob. I think the "butt-moving" issue might be exacerbated by that big spring in your tail though... wink

    SUPER TIGGER!! big_smile
  • jacindae 3 months ago
Hey, I can try but I'm not going to lie, I'm not good enough to play serious polka. I'd be happy to do what I can, though! Let me know and if you find a better accordionist I won't be sad, lol! smile
