I'm a full time Singer/songwriter/composer who enjoys collaborating and learning. I use both instruments and software to create my music.

Regarding collaborations: Usually, all my music-only or lyrics-only songs in 50/90 are open to collaboration, but please at least make a comment on the song that you're interested in it so I can make another entry for our collab. All collabs are strictly for fun, not profit. After the collab is posted, you are free to do what you wish with the parts you contributed. Please do not attempt to distribute or market our finished recording without my written permission. I am a full time musician, and my music is my sole income. You would be stealing from me. I'm open to working things up for distribution and pitches, but there is a lot of discussion and work that has to happen before we become business partners, because royalties are for life. That being said, do not be afraid of diving in if you see or hear something on my page that you want to work with, as I am open to collaboration for fun!

Thank you Tasha for your amazing collaboration and for the inspiration.

Oh my....you are a songwriting monster! I had no idea you could crank them out the way you did this year. Currently, my intenet connection is bad becuase I think my brother is downloading something. This week though I will be back to comment your work. I"m really looking forward to that too. I've just been having a hard time this past couple months or I would have done that a long time ago. Great FAWM!

  • @musicsongwriter Apr 26

You are very welcome Tasha. You have real talent and it's always a pleasure to comment on your songs.
    Nadia

  • @metalfoot  Apr 13

    What Nadia said. 😀

  • @musicsongwriter Apr 13

Thank you so much Tasha for the inspiration for my lyric and for your warm comment on my collaboration with Alex on That's Not What I Meant.
    Nadia

  • @kc5 Mar 26

    Thanks,T!

  • @jwhanberry  Mar 17

Tasha, I'm glad "Horns Of A Dilemma" brightened your day a little. Thanks for listening. And thanks for your many positive comments and support for my music. I really appreciate it. You help make FAWM great. Keep at yours and, if I'm ever in Tacoma again, maybe we can jam.

  • @fearlessflight2014  Mar 13

Hey there Tasha, I got some audio for my outer space lyric at long last (http://fawm.org/songs/72625/) and I'm working on One Step Back next... Still going...

  • @zecoop  Mar 11

    Bwahhhh hahaha
Maybe someday I'll make something ofg of music. Not true. I make a ton off of music - satisfaction. 😉

  • @fearlessflight2014  Mar 10

Just a note to say I DID actually finish my kitchen lyric you commented on. If you are curious. http://fawm.org/songs/71886/

  • @dutch1967 Mar 9

Thanks for your comment on Sleeping With The TV On, Tasha. Glad you liked it. I plan on shaving the lyrics here and there and re-recording, like I plan to do with a dozen other songs on this year's FAWM. Finally a full album! Yaaaaay

  • @tiller2  Mar 9

Hi, and thanks for your lovely comments on "Gone Solo." Glad you're still around

  • @reggiestyte Mar 9

Thanks for listening to my pulp spy track "Confessions of a Naive Double Agent". Nice to know my techniques are effective. 😀 Cheers!

  • @cindyrella  Mar 9

Thanks for letting me know. I have Fibro too and I feel your pain! Some days I am good, while others-hurts to do anything. No rush!

  • @cindyrella  Mar 9

Hey there Tasha. If you ever have time to still do my Blues Move Me or Well Behaved Women, just let me know. Even for this summer.

  • @fearlessflight2014  Mar 7

So glad you liked my bass part on wrap up. It's always a nail biter over dubbing on someone else's song.

  • @zxcvbnm  Mar 5

Thanks for your comment on Love to Hate, we were torn between the two words but I chickened out in case some woman came round and thumped me. lol

  • @rainchaser  Mar 3

hmm, not really, but I've heard the chord progressions done in a lot of songs. Nothing I would flinch about really. 😉

  • @kvnwoodruff Mar 2

Thanks so much for the comment. I look forward to digging into your catalogue!

  • @ericdistad  Mar 1

Hey Brrrse - Thanks for your kind words on Just Once. I'm glad it resonated with you!! It's hugely gratifying to know someone "gets" it!

PS - Congrats on an EPIC FAWM - 92 Tracks? Wow!

  • @elesimo  Mar 1

I did see snow while walking to my hotel today! As a Brazilian, snow never ceases to fascinate me! 😁

  • @elesimo  Mar 1

Tasha, thanks for the warm welcome here in Seattle, and the comments on my song! I didn't know you where close to Seattle. 😀

  • @leka Feb 28

Thanks for the kind words <3

  • @tiller2  Feb 27

I put my whooping crane lyric to music and would love to hear what you think 😀 http://fawm.org/songs/71572/

  • @standup  Feb 27

Hey, thanks for putting lyrics up for tape 4. Can't wait to work on it!

  • @darkmantle  Feb 26

Thanks for the comments on Can't sleep.
"I like that the guitar sounds like clock ticking." 😲 unintended genius on that one one I guess!! I didn't even notice. 🤣

  • @petemurphy  Feb 25

    86 songs!!!?!?!??! YOU. ARE. AMAZING!!!!!

  • @andygetch  Feb 25

Cool, for starters I'll record and post a link here

  • @andygetch  Feb 25

Hey T, I can do either #32 Good Golden Gondola, cause I owe ya 😀, or How Do You Love Someone You Hate, cause well I owe ya, or both just for the ying and yang of it. LMK how you would like to proceed 😀

  • @raygungirls  Feb 25

Hope I was able to do your lyrics justice.

  • @vegansongs Feb 24

Hi- thanks for watch listing me neighbor! Nice to meet you too! I wil start listening to your offerings..many offerings! Wow!!
I am going to do the next superskirmish at 2 pm. Maybe I will "see" you there?

  • @redlady8029 Feb 24

    Hi
This is wonderful. You did a fantastic job. I am blown away by your rendition. WOW that's all I can say.!!!! I literally have tears in my eyes. You captured the essence of the lyric and you get me.
    Redlady
    Schantell

PS: Can we work together some more.

  • @dutch1967 Feb 24

Gee, thanks for sharing the song in Recommended! Awesome you would like it SO much!!

  • @dutch1967 Feb 24

Thank you! For commenting on Dream Your Life. This took some doing. Gotta say it turned out just about the way I first heard it when I read Tim's words. Wish I was a better singer but I shouldn't complain.

  • @marthie Feb 24

Glad you liked it 😀. Just breathe

  • @marthie Feb 24

Glad you liked it 😀. Just breathe

  • @andygetch  Feb 24

oh BTW T, if I can help put any of your lyrics to music go ahead and name me as collaborator 😀

  • @marthie Feb 24

I tried "Just Breathe" my pc/cookies won't let me add you as collaborator now- I will try again later
    https://youtu.be/w9zvBcKztCE

  • @andygetch  Feb 24

Hey T, Just Breathe is powerful, as I was reading it stirred up memories <hugs> 😀.

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 23

Thanks for listening to My Dream Or Yours x

  • @engebretsen  Feb 23

Really nice to hear that you like "Who Will." I agree: These lyrics are awesome from @negasi.

  • @heuristicsinc  Feb 23

Oh, so you end up with two versions of the song on your page? One with lyrics and one without? I've not done this before but I thought people generally added to the existing song.

  • @heuristicsinc  Feb 23

I sent you an email with a link to a tentative track for "Ice" - although I realized I forgot to master the file so I don't want to post it until later. How does it work to update a lyric-only song with an mp3?

  • @laotranati Feb 23

Thanks for your comment on my take on Storm winds, aaaaaaand I just saw your list of songs and I'm suffering some kind of FAWM-envy, 80 songs! WOW! Congrats 😀

  • @raygungirls  Feb 23

Glad you like what I did with your words! It's definitely a rockin' tune.

  • @abudabard12514  Feb 22

So I just got here for the first time and the thing says:

    "Songs - 79"

    So that's friggin incredible.
    I'm about to dig in.

  • @fearlessflight2014  Feb 21

Thanks for your kindness. Trying to rest but I don't have that kind of life.

  • @jwhanberry  Feb 21

Thanks, Tasha, for your encouraging comments and support on my various superskirmish ramblings this past weekend. It was great fun playing with you and the other folks for all those hours. Have a great week.

  • @spunky4455 Feb 20

Thanks, I'm happy you liked my Ice song. It was a lot of fun to do.

  • @tiller2  Feb 20

And I thank you, too, for your helpful and encouraging comments. I don't always get the balance right between critique and encouragement but I try. Here's to the awesomeness that is fawm!

  • @cindyrella  Feb 20

Thanks for your sweet comment on my flag vent song!

  • @cindyrella  Feb 20

Just picking on you, you know! 😁

  • @hanley  Feb 20

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend with my comment earlier.
I'm sure it's quite difficult to record to tape, something I'm not courageous enough to try myself!

  • @hazeyjohnii  Feb 20

Thank you very much for your comment on The Gift - I finished it: http://fawm.org/songs/72538/

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 19

Thank you so much Tasha for your beautiful comment and support.
    Nadia

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 19

Thanks for your comments once again Tash x

  • @vomvorton  Feb 19

Yay, glad you like it! I had great fun recording it, thank you 😁

  • @vomvorton  Feb 19

Death of a Loveseat is up! Hope you like it 😀

  • @jacobeverettwallace  Feb 19

Thanks for filling in for me! You're a lifesaver. 😁 One of the most frustrating days I've had in awhile...so your topic title was apropos. Thanks again!

  • @jibbidy34  Feb 18

Hey tasha, thanks for listening to Loser Lover (vile skirmish) and for your kind words. I'm sorry I haven't managed to read more of your lyrics this time round. 50/90 always feels easier somehow and this feels so rushed! Anyway happy skirmishing x

  • @arthurrossi Feb 18

Once again I owe you a BIG, BIG thanks for all your wonderful, enduring, encouraging support! You are way, way too kind, my friend...

  • @vomvorton  Feb 18

'Death of a Loveseat' is coming along nicely, just trying to work out whether to attempt a Vincent Price impression or whether it sounds too ridiculous 😀 should get it finished tomorrow, will you add me as collaborator? Or shall I post it as a new song?

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 18

Thank you so much Tasha for your brilliant skirmish title. I wasn't going to write anything about the failing to record but your prompt really helped me express what I was feeling while trying to record my music. Thank you for your support.
    Nadia

  • @sjbatavia Feb 18

Thanks for the comment on I Can't Stand You. I wish this could have been more electric punk!

  • @tootoobee  Feb 18

H @brrrse, sorry that I have been absent, fell down in my usual FAWM "depression" that hits me any time I do FAWM ("my stuff just sucks, I can't write songs, I can't sing, the others are just SOOO great, just stop it..."). I just can't listen to other song then, it'll tear me further down. Only thing that helps is writing another song. But I think I'm over it now. 😉 Hopefully.
BTW, it's the first time I stared the Morph chain, I'd have rather left that to somebody else (cause I don't feel as the Morph specialist) but nobody started it the first days and so I jumped in. Cause I love morphing, it's a real challenge and I always learn a lot.

  • @johncrossman  Feb 18

Oh, yeah, and morphs are weird. People either stumble on them and don't know what it is or, like me, I feel like I have to start at the start and work my way through so I can see the song evolve. It's one of my favorite challenges.

I also have to say, you're killin' it this year! Again! Fawm on. 😀

  • @jwhanberry  Feb 17

Thanks for listening and commenting on "Truth". I see you're in Tacoma. When I lived in Seattle I played at Jazzbone's and Cole's before it burnt down. Good times.

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 17

Thank you Tasha, I've sent my message to you. Please let me know if you've opened the tracks ok. One is via google drive, sometimes it's not opening. If there is a problem I'll use another way of sending.
Thank you again for your kind messages.
    Nadia

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 17

Thank you so much Tasha, I'm delighted you like my music. I absolutely fell in love with your lyric and it's usually not my way of creating music to a lyric without asking but you wrote your beautiful notes which gave me the courage. Thank you so much. I'll record my rough vocals and will send them to you as soon as I have them recorded. I sincerely hope you feel better soon. It is frustrating to have sore throat. Please take care and avoid the temptation to sing.
    Nadia

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 17

Hi Tasha, I've posted my piano track to your beautiful lyric. Thank you for the inspiration.
    Nadia

  • @insaneian Feb 17

Hi there! Thanks for the kind words on my songs, and for busting the two Zongs I had! Also...HOLY COW! 58 songs done! WOW. Congrats!

  • @dutch1967 Feb 17

O! That makes me so happy and proud to hear you say that about One Step Back. I really thought the title was a kind of in contradiction with the happy feel of the song and that's what made me like it so.
Glad you like my effort to write a happity song.

  • @vomvorton  Feb 17

I love your 'Death of a Loveseat'! May I have a go at coming up with some kind of atmospheric track to read it over?

  • @gvgeis Feb 17

Thank you for your comments on Dammit! Isle. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it so. I'd insisted to Mr. Wordsmith for years that he'd crafted something fine with that one.

  • @tiller2  Feb 16

Thank you, Tasha, for your awesome comments about Whooping Cranes. I am so happy to help conjure up a good memory.

  • @levesinet Feb 16

Well, I could not post it and omit myself while posting it. Haha

  • @cindyrella  Feb 16

I love it! Your vocals made it come to life in an amazing way. Thank you! Very pleased.

  • @levesinet Feb 16

You're being too modest. And then people won't notice it. LOL
    I wonder what Cindy thinks.

  • @levesinet Feb 16

Oh, thank you, you did a wonderful job! Here's my mix. May I post it with you as a collaborator? Unfortunately this site doesn't support three collaborators.
    http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42...

  • @dutch1967 Feb 16

Thanks Tasha! So cool of you to stop by on Then You Came Along. This was a fun song to record. Had to get my slow-hand on. Not talking Clapton, just slooooooow.

  • @elesimo  Feb 16

Tasha, thanks for the comments on my latest song, I'm happy you liked it! I'm still getting started on making music with Ardour and Linux, but let me know if you need some help... though I'm sure that given the amount of songs you make you'll soon be the one teaching me! 😀

  • @jyllian Feb 16

How do you have so many songs??? What is your day job? Thanks for comments - I might steal that like about personal percussion track for my corduroy song.

  • @barbara  Feb 15

Ah.. thank you for telling me that. I'm pleased to be a part of stirring those good memories to mind. I see the similarity now, too. Thank you!

  • @barbara  Feb 15

Hi Tasha! Thank you for listening to 'This Alchemy.' You have me feeling curious about the memories it sparked. I hope you don't mind my asking: are they arising mostly due to the musical genre/style, or the content of the lyric?

  • @valeriecox  Feb 15

Wow! You've been busy this month. And commenting too. You're a FAWMstar. 😉 Many thanks for dropping by my little tune.

  • @spunky4455 Feb 15

Hi, thanks for checking out my latest song! Glad you liked it. I'm still using the month to try different things.

  • @tjeff  Feb 15

Big thanks for your comments on "Wolf Creek Pass." Much appreciated. Wow, you have a lot of songs! Will be taking a listen.

  • @petemurphy  Feb 15

I'm glad you like it Tasha. The melody came to me as soon as I looked at the words, I just had to spend a bit of time figuring out the chords to put underneath it. Feel free to post it on here if you're happy with the roughness of the performance. Thank you for letting me work on it 😀

  • @petemurphy  Feb 15

How's this for a rough idea? There are mistakes and dodgy notes n' stuff, but it lays out the melody ideas I had 😀

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5...

  • @woody Feb 15

Hi Tasha, yes that song catcher piece turned out very nicely --- I hope you're enjoying it half as much as I am. My bridge chords feel a little mushy and could stand some tightening up, but the verses are ace and maybe the bridge is good enough to leave well enough alone. So thanks for the nod re collabs yeah I'm feeling the music more than the lyrics this year so more collabs may be in order.

  • @musicsongwriter Feb 14

    Thank you Tasha.

  • @arthurrossi Feb 14

Hey, my dear friend... How can I thank you for all your wonderful, encouraging words and all the support... I was so happy to read your comment...

  • @petemurphy  Feb 14

Cool! Thank you. Yeah, let's definitely get something else together. I'll check in on your page again tomorrow and have a look at some of your other lyrics (I usually find it easier writing music to someone else's words). I think I'm done with making music for the day... had a headache all day that doesn't seem to be getting any better.
I'm gonna do a bit of listening/commenting, and then head to bed.
Hope the rest of your day goes well.

  • @petemurphy  Feb 14

Y'know, I was just grabbing myself a snack, and I thought to myself "wouldn't it be cool if Tasha put some vocals down on it!"
    Great minds...
Go ahead. Add anything else you feel like putting on there too.
I was kinda limited in what I had around me when I pressed record, so the 'kick drum' was me banging my foot on a thing next to the sofa that the dogs sometimes lie on, and the 'snare' was me clapping my hands. If my slide had been close at the time, I would've done a slide guitar thing, but...

  • @petemurphy  Feb 14

Yeah, if you're happy enough to use it in its rough state, then I'm good with you putting it up 😀

  • @petemurphy  Feb 14

Well here's what I made up on the spot. It could be worked into something more solid at a later date.
Thank you Tasha, I don't think I've ever made up the music for a song AFTER pressing the record button before...
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5...

  • @zecoop  Feb 14

If you like the CD, I finally got all the other members on board with this crazy FAWM thing... so check out @guatecoop @kovbleu and @slawbleu if you have not already. 😀

  • @spunky4455 Feb 14

Awesome thanks for your compliments! It was a pleasure to work with you. You have created a little bit of material here, I see. Keep up the fantastic work!
