Bio

I am part of a trumpet, guitar, cello trio with Burr Settles (@burrsettles) and Sarah Wynia Smith (@wynia) called the Pine Box Orchestra. However, the PBO are on haitus, since Burr is now a postdoc at Carnegie Mellon University, and Brian and Sarah are now postdocs at The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego. Hopefully we'll get the band back together some day, and recordings are still in the works for a CD release. In the meantime, you can watch live videos on youtube or hear some demos at www.myspace.com/burrsettles

As with every year, my goal is to use all the instruments in our house (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, cello, bass, trumpet, flugelhorn, flute, piano, recorder, and shakers). I haven't succeeded yet, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the kind words, Brian! I'd still like to collab. I'm not sure about those days yet because of family traveling that weekend possibly (to the San Diego area).
