Thanks Bob. I was wondering if the song title scared people away. Maybe they were expecting Yoko to be singing . It is actually one of my favorite solo works this FAWM, all with Sony Acid loops, but I keep replaying it like the goof I am instead of writing new stuff.

LOL, the only way I could think to extend the abuse of those lyrics is to take it back to the original title, "It's all about the boys", and discuss why I wear boxers instead of briefs LOL but I just don't have enough lyrics in mind to take it that low

At least not today. Perhaps later if I'm struggeling to hit my 10xFAWM I'll revisit it later

Thanks for the compliment on "I Feel it All Around" (lyrics by sueawesome). I've never tried putting someone else's words to music before joining this FAWM. Usually my originals develop as music and lyrics simutaneously. It's a cool discovery!

1B what a cool story behind Artie! Thanks for sharing man. Sounds like a very cool guitar... It's always a way better experience to 'make it yourself'. Gives you a connection that you just can't get from buying it out of the store.

I gotta say though your back/shoulders must be aching after playing a gig with that thing. It took me a while to get used to the weight of mine. Although I'm looking for a les paul style for my next electric... I just like the sustain you get out of a heavier guitar I guess!

1B Thanks for the Tele love man! It's actually a US Masters Guitar. The president of the company is a personal friend of mine and he let me come in the shop and pick out the wood, color neck and electronics for it! It's totally my baby man. I even had my friend sign it so it's signed by it's creator!

He used to have a picture of it out on his site... but they just redid their website and I don't think it's there anymore! Check out his stuff at http://www.usmasters.com/

Thanks for the welcome back! Apparently the 50/90 version of my profile didn't transfer back to FAWM, so the old one returned like a ghost to haunt me. Go figure.

Anyway, I had no intention of skipping FAWM this year. It's just that I had to deal with writer's block all last month. That's over, fortunately. I'm back to my original plan of doing 14 acoustic songs the first 2 days, now the first weekend. You'll be hearing things from me before the weekend's over, I promise.

True story: I took the family to an indoor waterpark for a bit of a break just before FAWM. We unpacked the car and got into the elevator, and I said "we need to remember what floor we're parked on (4B)...how do we remember that?" So we started saying the floors as we passed them on the elevator
- youngest son: "4B 4 the car!"
- wife: "3B house of horror!"
- oldest son: "2B or not 2B!"
- me: "1B King!"
- Family: "who?"
- me: "famous guitar player"
- Family: "ah...OK Dad..."
