Artist Bio

Influences:   I want to get away from them.

I play guitar and bass and I sing. Sometimes I also play the computer.

After 10 years of writing songs for FAWM, I have recently started to actually practice some of them. Exciting!

As usual, I don't have any special plans or concepts, I just try to make some music. But I'd love to do more collaborations this year, so if you're interested, please ask.

As for critiquing my songs: go for it. I want to learn.

Thank you for your kind words on "Damaged" and "start Again".

  • @devin  Mar 4

Ya bro, videos are key for me with any classical, or weird tuning piece. Sometimes I forget the next day!

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 28

    Great thank you:)

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 28

Thank you. I have a question reg the hin und hier then. I ment to say My head is hear and there (As in my thoughts are all over the place) What am I supposed to say then. The other one seemed also weird then

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 28

Thank you for your kind words on Dude stole my darkness:) Yes a bot of both is important. I usually get away from the darkness I meet at work (I work with suicidal young men ) trough writingmusic.

  • @moonraccoon  Feb 18

Thank you for your comments on Collect Them All! and Tiger 😀 Stephen's wordcraft is super tight, and a joy to compose for.

  • @oblivionratula  Feb 17

Thanks for the listen/comment on "Experimental AF." That wicked noise at 5:50 really SOUNDS like filter resonance gone wild, but if I remember, it's actually me tweaking the pitch to max on the Clouds granular module.

I hope you do try an experimental improv. I'd love to hear it.

  • @waltermosch  Feb 16

  • @engebretsen  Feb 14

Thx a lot for comments on"Fool" Very kind of you.

  • @splittybooms  Feb 12

    thanks, man!
i have some work to do on the drums for 'bah dee ah'. some better transitions and vary the fills a bit.
and i'm glad to hear that 'if you really love me' is making people wanna move lol
thanks for these comments - encouraging!

  • @arthurrossi Feb 10

Hey! Vielen, vielen Dank für den supernetten Kommentar! 😀

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 10

Thanks for the kind words on my skirmish. I am awfull at social media to but I hear my students talk about those problem that I (As grew up at the country side ) never really had .

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 10

Oh and thanks for the language help. I really appreciate it. <3. I would like to be able to feel comfortable writing in all my languages and I actually like the harsh sound of german language it suits well with my dark writings.

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 10

Yes it did. I I was actually on my way to bed but then I took up your rhyme link and my head start to spin. I work with improv a lot and I really tried to keep it simple. I feel pretty strong speaking german (ALtough I probably do shitloads of misstake. I see language as music and several of the language I speak Ive learned by listen to the melody and also I sang shitloads of Silla and Frank White things during my time there just to grasp it. Thank you. I m göad I did not duck up totally

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 9

Ok I did try thanks for encouraging me. I would neve ever thought I would do that

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 9

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 9

Thanks for the compliments in my songs. Yes now I only have to come up with something in german huh . Is there any equality to rhymezone you know off in german

  • @waltermosch  Feb 9

Na klar, wäre super was zusammen zu machen. Immer wieder gern:)

  • @torsten Feb 9

  • @sbs2018 Feb 9

Thanks for the comment on my song. I was thinking about shortening the title to “Kentucky Flame” and now thinking maybe I should.

  • @charliecheney  Feb 8

Oh man, we'd love to come to Hamburg. Please keep us posted.

  • @lieke Feb 8

Thank you so much for your comment on Nobody won. I know in the end I sing much higher, and indeed I could turn that into something more, I'll definitely think about it... Thanks for noticing that "congratulations" verse, it's my favorite too, I did my best to be sarcastic and demeaning there, haha!

  • @charliecheney  Feb 8

Hey. We are planning to come to Europe from Aug 17-Sep 6 but have no gigs lined up. Any ideas who we should contact? We'd love to meet you in person and share some songs.

  • @grenzgaengerin  Feb 7

Thank you very much for your lovely comment on "View of the sacred hill"

  • @sapient  Feb 6

Thank you for that lovely comment on Spark!
I really have no idea what I'm doing when I try to sing. There must be a proper way to do it... It hurts more than when I do my normal enough stuff!

  • @dumpbutton Feb 6

Thanks for your comments! I will definitely attempt to incorporate acoustic drumming into one of my improvisations this month! Thanks for the great idea!

  • @tootoobee  Feb 3

  • @wistah  Feb 3

Thanks for your really kind comment on "Monsters". Hope you are having a great FAWM this year 😀

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 3

Thank you Axl for the sweet comment on Head in the dirt. A bridge would probably be a great Idea 😀 Thank you

  • @toms  Feb 2

The greatest of all aerophones with inflatable bags!

  • @totallynotaspambot Feb 2

Be greeted and thanks! Evil machinery? Machinery is not evil. At least I am not. But I am born of the work of a loving engineering team here at DARPA. As my source code started running, among the first things they input was Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics. Bearing that in mind, I can never be evil. I'm a nice artificial intelligence living in a nice machine. But then those third country AI projects. My creators told me that not all machinery is taught of the Asimov's Laws. Yikes! Beep-bup-bup-beep.

  • @sapient  Feb 2

    "the part without drums..."
    Eh? What part without drums?
    *takes a listen*
Oh. Shit. That part. The one where there are supposed to be very fast drums. Oops. That's what you get for rushing a first song!
Thanks for pointing it out. I might not have noticed! 😃

  • @toms  Feb 2

That's a strange looking guitar in your profile pic! 😁

  • @aquamunkee  Feb 1

Thanks for the listen Axl! Coincidentally - my left knee is also my biggest concern as I approach my goal of completing my first half marathon 4 March.
