Bio

I do vocals / guitar / bass / occasional drums with AvidFan (www.avidfan.net), a notionally London based rock trio (although only 1/3 of the band lives there!). We are currently largely inactive bar the odd recording session. I have been persuaded to try FAWM by bandmate Ben!

Thank you very much for this great, powerful song! What an energy, I love it!! I also like how you made the chorus and the intro... Wonderful music! I enjoy it a lot, thank you so much!!!
By the way, @kenjku is so kind and going to give a try to another set of lyrics... and a second by the way, one does not sense at all you got a cold, gorgeous vocal! Once again, thank you so much, I am delighted at how it turned out, great job!!

Thanks for the advice and encouragement on my murder-ballad. I'm using GarageBand for iPad, but I downloaded it very recently and I'm very much still in the learning stage. I tried adding more reverb and I'm amazed at how much better it sounds, so thanks for that tip. As for percussion, I'm trying, but I do not have the hand of fitting it into an already made song yet. Hopefully by the end of FAWM...

yeah mixing is tough, especially in digital. there are no 'right' ways, but you can find 'your way.' one thing is, i've heard that tape used to 'roll off' the highs, due to the 'innate compression of the medium.' so digital tends to automatically be really 'crisp' in the high end. of course, run what i just wrote past someone else, and they might tell you i'm all wet. anyway, just keep working at it; you'll find your sound.
