Thanks for the feedback, you're right they do convey very similar messages. However, whereas my track has the character totally turning his back on everyone and vowing to isolate himself, I think yours actually has a glimmer of hope where you want acceptance - even if it just remains as hope. Very interesting to see the same subject tackled by a pessimist and an optimist!
